Our loved one was only in the memory care unit for 4 DAYS and was taken by ambulance at 2:30am in the morning to Morton Plant. NO ONE in our family received a call until 7:30am in the morning and then no one knew what hospital to send us to. It took over 2 HOURS to find her. They said she fell but no bruises anywhere on her except a black eye! She never walked again after that. Passed away about a month later! My mom was doing great until she arrived here! We thought she would be with us for several years!! They made it seem like the place was really good about taking care of our loved one but obviously they dropped the ball somewhere…..we found out later the State was looking into several issues. Plus my dad had additional expenses he wasn’t counting on! PLEASE think twice before you take your loved one here or you’ll be burying your loved one like us???? I wouldn’t even give them one star because they took my dads star away from him!!

My family member is in care at this Grand Villa location and I can't say enough great things about the staff and how much they really do CARE. Putting a loved one in care during these past COVID years has been grueling to say the least; extreme staffing shortages, limited visitations, window visits, masks. The staff is exhausted and you can see that YET they show up and treat the residents with respect and dignity. Specifically, I've observed aides reading to residents, extra time with those non-verbal, playing memory games (quizzing on musical artists) dancing with residents, and giving redirecting tasks to residents who act get frustrated. This industry really needs to pay so much more for those that do DAILY what we caregivers realized we can no longer do. Great place truly because of the great staff!

Based on our families experience we would not recommend Grand Villa of Largo to anyone. Our loved one had supposedly fell out of bed and we were never called until the next morning and that was even hours after our loved one had being admitted to the hospital. It did not meet any of the expectations our family had and we would advise families to be vigilant when looking into communities for their loved ones

Grand Villa is a wonderful place. Starting with [name removed] the Marketing Director - she was wonderful and very helpful. Maintenance bent over backwards to help us when we moved Mom in. They even hung up some curtains for us. The Executive Director was great. I had questions about billing, and he was very helpful, accommodating, and answered all my questions. The front staff are wonderful too. It has just been an absolutely wonderful experience.

I thought Grand Villa of largo was nice. It was a lot cleaner than some of the other places we looked at. It's a smaller community, which Initially we were pleased with. But once we saw a larger place, we preferred the diversity we saw in that larger community, and we thought it would be a better opportunity for growth for our loved one. It all depends on your what your personal preference is.
Grand Villa of Largo was the first community we looked at. It was also the one I chose after looking around. From the warm feel to the caring staff and awesome floor plans, it was the right fit. I enjoy the live entertainment, cooking in the cafe, Friday night movies and our beautiful courtyard. Hands down…….. I live in a five star community……..with a five star chef!

From the day I saw the Grand Villa of Largo and met [name removed], the Executive Director, I knew I had found exactly what I was looking for. He doesn’t hesitate to work right along side of the servers in our wonderful dining room. The housekeepers are fantastic as well as the maintenance team. As for the Med Techs and doctors they bring in, I can’t say enough good things about them either. When I walked through the front doors, I knew I was home.

I have been here for almost three years. I would not choose to live anywhere else. From the Executive Director to the care staff, I could not be any happier. During the pandemic, their concern for me was so great, that I didn't’’t have to worry about myself at all. There are always activities to enjoy and I’ve made a lot of good friends. I would highly recommend this community.

I am a new resident here and enjoy the community a lot. The staff is pleasant and very patient. I am enjoying live musicians a couple of times a week as well as crafts and Bingo. The food is very good and the service excellent. I will be playing the piano in an upcoming talent showcase all of the Grand Villas are having. Wish me luck!

Grand Villa of Largo has been my home for almost four years. I would not want to be anywhere else. The staff is phenomenal and go above and beyond to ensure I get the care and assistance that I need. Our Chef is outstanding and serves meals with an emphasis on fresh ingredients. As for our community, we enjoy live entertainment 3-4 times a week, auctions, celebrations and games! I highly recommend our community and love to welcome our new residents.

My grandmother has lived here for several years! The employees in every department are very friendly and attend to her every need, she now says this is homerather than asking us to go home. Thank you for making her and us happy.

Everyone at Grand Villa loves it there, if you try and move residents out of that community they will take their scooters and run away. Everyone I have talked to is very happy. It is a smaller community with not a huge number of residents so all the staff members know the residents by names and their families, and even when I come to visit all of the residents know me by name. The meals and activities are awesome, they have everything going on there.

It was okay here. There was nothing wrong - I just didn't care for it, and I couldn't quite put my finger on the reason why. It just boiled down to a feeling. The room setup felt chaotic and wasn’t very calming. The residents' rooms were kind of intermixed all over with different common spaces. It was a smaller community than other places we looked at, but the layout was confusing.
Our family had a virtual tour experience and when they were showing us around we realized that the community had multiple stories. The activities were on the 2nd and 3rd floor so the accessibility would be difficult for some residents.
It a wonderful place and very family-oriented. The community is clean and well taken care of and the food is very good also. I would definitely recommend this community to other
