Its a very nice place the administrative staff could have worked with me and my loved one a bit better, she should have been in memory care from the start they should have done a better job during the interview proses with my mother.

The way it is laid out is nice, they are separate little wings and in each wing they have several different rooms. During COVID, they were able to keep doing activities since they were in small wings with people they were already dining with. They also set up clear plastic stands so we were able to visit with our loved ones, they have been very accommodating during this time. When my mom had a knee issue, they were able to offer free transportation to and from doctors appointments. They were definitely affordable as well for what you get. We had a great experience here and would recommend to others.

We really liked how clean this community is, and the way the building it set up. They put everyone into different cluster in the dining area so it makes it more intimate. They offer a good amount of activities, they have bingo which our loved one really enjoys, they also have trivia and ice cream socials. They did have yoga at one point, but with COVID it has been difficult. During the tour we were able to see the rooms and they looked nice, but we have not been able to see our loved ones room. Our loved one seems to think the food is fine.

We chose Tennyson Court because of the proximity to my home and I liked what they had to say and offer. The room sizes are decent. I think the chef tries hard to please everybody and the food is good. Before COVID they had things like picnics and barbecues for the families. They pick their meals the day before and they have a variety of choices. My favorite part about the community is knowing that my father constantly has help available to him if it is needed. I would highly recommend this facility.

My mom has been a resident in assisted living at Tennyson for over 3 years and she will soon be moving into their Memory care unit. I can’t say enough abut the excellent care she has received from the nurse’s aides, nursing staff and all others involved in her care. She has been treated with dignity and compassion even as she has gone down hill mentally. In addition to excellent care Tennyson treats the families well also. We are kept informed of all activities, any incidents our family members endure and then there are the parties that include all family members. Plus they serve us good food at these events!! I can’t say enough about how pleased my family and myself have been with our mom’s care.

I currently have a loved one in the facility. We have been lied to by the administrator on how many medical care people will be looking after our loved ones. They are suppose to have one nurse and three aids for each housing unit but this is not the case. They get around having the "legal limit" of one nurse day side, and then they say an "Activities" person is considered an aid but when you ask the aid they have no clue that this is a job classification of their jobs. They have been rude to us and do not look upon people that are in the facility. For the amount of money this place charges its way over priced for what you get and its a big joke. They don't even fold laundry and hang up the clothes

My Mother is a current resident in Tennyson Courts assisted living. If it was up to me I would have her transferred to almost anyplace else so fast your head would spin. In the year and a half she has been there we have had frequent issues with both medical care and help with daily living. In the same time they have had three different administrators, with the initial one taking most of the managers with her when she left. The staff turnover issue flows all the way down. Which makes for very poor care. The medical records are all paper instead of electronic, so I've seen the nurses digging through binders and loose paper files trying to find things. Ridiculous. The response to issues has been tepid at best. Don't give your loved one into their care!!

This community is more like a group home with some lovely common areas. It seemed like mom would be in her room more than we were hoping for. This is a nice place and the person that took us on tour was friendly. This community is strictly for memory care residents and we did not feel mom was ready for this type of care.

This community is nice with a great staff members that are very caring. The food is appealing. A clean community in everyway. They do offer activities and right now my sister in law is not participating. I would recommend this to other families for good care.

It seemed very nice. The assisted part bothers me when they say they are assisted when you need anything they just have very minimal assistance. This was our second choice. We like the idea of the houses, it was broken down into small groups. There was a lot of activity in the front and the setting was gorgeous. They were having a picnic and the residents were getting involved.

Very nice, but the rooms were small. Community areas were nice and comfortable. Private pay, so that didn't work for us (for the future). However, the lady was very helpful and provided another spot in Cheektowaga.

I am so very happy with them; I think I made a good decision. The only thing is I wish that they had a transition and introduction period. Mom doesn’t like it when someone comes into her room and she doesn’t know who they are. Other than that everything else is great.
