I was never allowed inside to visit during Covid, but I was able to have window visits outside with the window open about 4 inches. The limited areas I was able to go inside didn't have any kind of nursing home smell. Everyone seemed engaged with the activities going on, and they seemed happy. I talked to other people who had loved ones there, and they raved about it. My loved one never talked much about the care he received, but I could see that they kept him clean, and he was well-fed. The place itself was nice enough and looked like it was a good place. Not being able to be there hands-on, it's hard to assess fully. I would recommend it for somebody with minor medical problems. The staff were very caring and did the best they could. It was just hard for me not to be hands-on and be there with my loved one. But I think restrictions around visiting are changing and lifting now.
I would not recommend the community if your loved one needs lots of care. If your loved one can walk, and talk this would be a good community. My loved one has lost weight since being here. They need to be upfront with the care services they offer and what they won't do. There were a lot of surprises to us after getting into the community.
It is a very caring community. We were able to have virtual visits with our loved one. The staff communication was great.
We chose Spring Village because the rooms were very nice size and had a much better atmosphere. The staff here was good, but they were not trained properly for the type of care that we needed, but they did work very hard. They did have a lot of activities provided to the residents. My wife passed away here, I did not like at the end the way that it was handled. I would recommend depending on the care your loved one needs.
Due to COVID we have only been able to go in to to see my loved one, one time. Everyone has been outstanding. My mom seems very happy. The food has been good. The community has lots of activities. They even have medical staff that comes to check in on residents. The have an advanced Nurse Practitioner. The community has been able to assist in getting things expeditiously done for my loved one.
When I was looking for a new home for my mother, I was not sure where to begin. Many of my friends reccomended Spring Village. After visiting all assisted livings in the area, Spring Village won hands down. The friendly and knowledgeable staff made me feel at home and I could picture my mom living here. Its been over 9 months now and we have not regretted it for a moment. During COVID, I knew she was safe, her medications were managed, she was eating well and most importantly she was surrounded by a caring, loving and devoted staff. She was never alone but more important, never lonely. Thank you Spring Village for all you do!
This community exceeds our expectations! The staff shows such compassion and respect toward the residents and treat them like family. It is clean and smells fresh, activities are creative and engaging and the food is outstanding. This was the best choice for our dear friend that moved here from Florida!
I am an attorney who has and had had several clients residing in both units of this facility. I have been impressed with the cleanliness of the buildings, resident rooms, and common areas, the care of the staff, and the programs offered. I am also aware that their COVID numbers are virtually nonexistent - a credit to their proactive procedures.
My mother has Alzheimer's. Spring Village staff provided excellent care for her. They are very patient with her, which is important to me. The facility is always kept clean and orderly. Their care through the COVID-19 was exceptional. They kept us informed of testing and procedures.
Very clean, nice people, loads of amenities and activities for the residents. I was very pleased
