My mother is currently a resident at Shorehaven. The staff at this facility is the best. Very caring. They are involved and care about the needs of the residents. The staff is very friendly and always very accommodating.
Apartment sizes and accommodations are adequate for what is needed.

Save yourself the stress
If you are thinking of putting your family in this place save yourself the stress.the management sucks and most of the aids are lazy. Then you call them out on stuff and they make it a nightmare and the director will sit there and cover for his employees even when you have proof of what’s going on. Also beware they will tell you one thing and once they have you in there due the total opposite. Also they will keep jacking up your rent if you need more assistance. This place is out ravenous and the one aid on night shift is so nasty and rude. All I’m saying is save yourself the stress and find another place.

Great Place
I think it is a wonderful place, my only issue is the food.
I believe this may be contributed to staffing issues that stem from Covid related issues.

Solid choice all around
My father-in-law is very happy. The place has various levels of care available and he has a lot of options to be as private or as social as he wants. he likes the meals and gets consistent care. The staff is very proactive in calling if there is a problem or question. Overall very happy.

It has been very accommodating, friendly and welcoming, our aunt has felt at ease
We would highly recommend the Shorehave community, the outside surroundings and walking areas are beautiful. The community is situated near a pond where they residents can sit by the water, it is a very pretty setting and peaceful. The administration has done such a great job making our loved one feel welcomed. It is a very nice community, our aunt is very happy. There are plenty of opportunities for residents to participate in activities, and the value for cost is very reasonable and cost effective.

Good for more active seniors.
The care services are separate from the community. The community is an independent living with additional cost for the assistance. The community is good with communication and they are quick to return calls. I would recommend depending on your loved ones' needs.

end of life care not offered
The community did not let us know they did not have an end of life care. They only offered care for people that are mobile and offered assisted living and this left us in a bind because they did not disclose that in the beginning.

Shorehaven Was A Very Good Place For My Mom
The community has a friendly staff, they are well organized, and very attentive to the residents.
My loved one isn't as social as others, but I don't blame Shorehaven.
The staff are responsive to any questions or concerns I have with my loved one.

Medical and Personable Care is Questionable
I would check multiple times before contracting with them.
We went through a multiple visits before moving in. They promised several care items to care for our loved one and that didn't happen. On the third day of moving my loved one in, they called and told us to move my loved one out since they couldn't care for them.
I feel this is horrible because they did an evaluation and said they could take care of our loved one. We paid for a renovation of the room for my loved one.
The community is not willing to give us a refund of the renovation.

Stay away,kicked my mother in law out for falling down.Gave her 24 hours to pay for 24- 7 care or find a new place to live.By far the worst place we have ever experienced.

Shorehaven cares!
My parents moved in the month the Shorehaven property changed hands. Initially there were glitches but in a very short period of time it was transparent. The new staff is helpful, considerate, and generally wonderful. Transition to assisted living is not easy but Shorehaven made it a pleasure.

I wanted this to be my favorite based on its location. Many rooms overlook a lake with walking area around the lake. However the receptionist was uninfromed of our pre-scheduled visit even though my name was on the welcome signage at the front door. When informing the receptionist of this she snapped at me and made me feel that my family would not be welcome or comfortable here. Glad that there were not 2 bathrooms in the two bedroom apartments due to the handling of our arrival with the receptionist.
