Above and Beyond
They have been great to work with and they really love and care for the residents.
Most all the staff is very patient with the residents and go above and beyond to help them. They really try to get to know the residents and their needs.

A great place for your family

A great experience!
Our experience with the staff has been very good. They really seem to care that your loved one is has a good experience, is taken care of and safe. The building is kept well groomed.
My Dad has a Studio Apartment, it's perfect for him. The layout is good for him and has plenty of space, the shower could be a little larger, so a shower chair fits and there is still plenty of room. It's a little tight right now with the shower chair.

Would Recommend - Good Choice for My Mom
The staff is friendly, and they make a point to get to know the residents and what they like. They check on them daily to make sure that they're safe. The food is one area they could do a little better on. I would like to see more variety and a few more a la carte options. Sometimes the vegetables are mushy, the food is cold, etc. But the activities are good. And the cost seems reasonable.

Great experience
We had a great experience at Senior Star at Burgundy Place . The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is what stuck out the most, they were always willing to help. They did have a good variety of choices on their food menu. They had 3 or more choices for entrees and a salad and fruit bar. I would definitely recommend them to others looking.

My Mom is coming up on her third year at Burgundy. We are so pleased that she is a resident here. From the moment we walked thru the door for our tour, we knew this was the place! She has her independence but is surrounded with friends and a loving, caring staff . They all do a great job especially the last few months with the Covid outbreak. They were proactive with keeping our loved one safe. We will always recommend Burgundy Place!

Tender, loving care
It's hard to find a retirement center for our greatly loved mother! We wanted a safe environment for her with good food and great activities! We found all this wrapped up in Burgundy Place! The prices are very competitive as well! The staff are like family and residents are friendly! The activities director, [name removed], has done a masterful job of coming up with COVID safe activities! The director, [name removed], has kept our mother safe from the threat of COVID with strict protocol in place! My mother couldn't be happier which makes me, her daughter, overjoyed!

My parents have lived at Senior Star at Burgundy Place for a little over a year. They are thriving, even during the pandemic. The staff has done such a great job with COVID-19 precautions and I couldn’t be happier with the overall experience. I would recommend this facility to anyone considering this level of care.

My mother has been at Burgundy Place for over a year and a half. The staff are absolutely fabulous! They are friendly, competent, professional and go out of their way to take care of all the residents. The facility is always clean and inviting. This place is a God-send!
My father has been at Burgundy for 2.5 years. They have been an unbelievable God-send for him after my mother passed away. The staff is amazing and go above and beyond in every aspect of life for their residents. I could not recommend Burgundy more highly!!

Really like this property. The floor plans were straight forward and would be easy to decorate. The location of this property is a very large plus. However, I was somewhat disappointed with the kitchen area particularly the countertop width.

Thank you so much for taking time to review Burgundy Place. Residents do love our apartment floor plan options. We understand many are accustomed to larger kitchen spaces. However, with our dining room available for 3 meals per day and our Anytime Dining options, residents have found that the efficiency of the smaller kitchen is plenty of space for those occasions when preparing their own meal is desired.

Such an Excellent Place
Senior Star at Burgundy Place is an excellent home for my dad. He has been there for three months now, and while he is slow to warm up to the community, the other residents seem really happy. The staff is excellent, especially the dining room staff. They know Daddy by name and really work hard to make him comfortable there. There are so many activities to be involved in from bible studies and church services, concerts, exercise, and off campus outings. There are lots of different people living here, so once dad gets warmed up, he’ll definitely make friends. The food is wonderful, and there are always multiple choices during mealtimes. Residents can even have meals delivered to their rooms if they wish. Once a week, the staff will clean residents’ rooms, dust, and change bed linens. They will even do laundry for a fee. Our only issue is that the Home Health staff is not as good as we feel it could be. Dad needs help with showering, and the staff is very good about coming in every day to make sure he can get cleaned up, but they always seem to come in the evening. My father prefers to shower earlier in the daytime. Besides this issue, we feel that Senior Star is well worth it, and our experience has been excellent.

Comfortable Care!!
I have no complaints about how things are going for my mother since she made the move into this community. She has been making her way down to the dinning room and enjoys the meals they are providing. I am pleased to see that she is slowly starting to get involved with a few of the activities they have available throughout the week. The staff have been easy to work with and I am comfortable with the care they are providing.

Mom's smiling again!
I moved my 93 year old Mom to Burgundy Place about 8 weeks ago after being in a very unpleasant facility. The first thing she said was "people are actually talking and laughing in the dining room". She moved from an Assised living situation to independent living. She is the happiest I've seen in years! She doesn't worry about someone bursting through the door at 3am to empty the trash or to check on her. She enjoys her privacy very much now. Overall this move was the best thing that has happened to us in a while. I'm so grateful that I moved Mom to this delightful place. I'm so happy to see her smile again!

This was one of my mothers top picks to where she would like to move too. Unfortunately the location wasn't convenient for us. However our tour went very well. This is a nice community with nice people. The staff was kind, and answered our questions. We did like this community, and our tour was nice.

The staff have been friendly and helpful. Mom is not crazy about the food. She likes the daily activities and they keep the community very clean. The entire staff seem to care and I would recommend this community.
