My mother and mother in law both lived there last year. We unfortunately lost both of them. Mine on [date removed] and mother-in-law, [date removed]. Both went peacefully and painlessly, and loved beyond belief. From the moment you arrive at Rose Senior Living, the place feels and looks special. Clean, bright, and inviting. Someone is always at the desk to greet you and log you in. The place looks clean and is. I think the food is quite good and getting better. (My wife secured a part time job in the kitchen and loves prepping good food for the residents.) Rooms are adequate and up to date. My mother loved it. And we wouldn't have moved my mother in law from Chicago , if we didn't think it was a good place for her. I'd give it a 4.5 overall. Haven't found the perfect place yet! But it's a very special place.... Read more

Our family had an in person tour with Rose Senior Living and we really liked the facility. It was lovely and the apartment was wonderful - spacious, bright, with wonderful views. Unfortunately it was out of our budget and farther east than we needed.

My expectations were not met. I was not given through information concerning the items my loved one would need for his stay. I assumed that the mattress would be protected because it is a place for elderly people. Even hotels are wise enough to protect matresses! I was not told he would need a hamper, so my son took my husband's clothes home to launder. He was never given a tour of the facility even though I asked and my husband asked twice. The lock on his door did not operate. Fortunately it did not cause a problem.

Response from Rose Senior Living at Providence Park
May 26, 2023Thank you for your kind words and this wonderful review! We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
If you really loved your “mom”, or anyone for that matter who you are considering sending to this location, DONT. Run as fast as you can. Management is absolutely terrible. You’ll swear the people you meet are nice and friendly but it’s a facade to get your money. Executive Director is never in office & always promising to share time with residents but she is never anywhere to be found, this is a consistent thing. They’ll tell you she’s in her office but really, she’s never in the building. The whole building could be in disarray but she’ll blame everyone else on her terrible management skills. She talks down on the employees, blames them for everything and never takes accountability. Cooks use hands to put food on residents plates. Care staff laughs at and or talks down to residents in their face or behind their backs. Turn over rate is awful. Don’t be fooled by the smiles, sweet talk and look of the building. Save your money and run fast.

My loved one is a resident at Rose Senior Living at Providence Park and it's great! The staff is great. The cleanliness and friendliness are great. Everything except the food. I would say the food is good, not great. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

Response from Rose Senior Living at Providence Park
April 18, 2023Your recommendation means so much to us and we're so happy to have earned it. Thank you again for taking the time to let the world know about your positive experience. Have a great day!
With the friendliness of the staff - the receptionist was very busy on her phone, and never looked up. The food staff and are customer service oriented. They activities are great - they take outings, they have exercises classes, they go to restaurant's. They have movies, cards, games, walks, town halls, gardening's, crafts, and shopping trips. Based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend this community to other families.

Our family had an in person tour and we thought it was a very nice community and the staff were very friendly, but due to our loved ones care it was just not going to be the place for us .
Good tour, but too large and a little too upscale for my loved one's preferences.
This was a good community, not the right fit for my loved one.
we toured Rose Senior Living, but chose another community based on the value for cost. we didn't think there would be a difference between the quality of care, as they're both stellar places.
The community is very clean, and doesn't feel intuitional. Everyone is very friendly from the staff to the other residents on site. There are movies, events in the Pub, brought in animals, fall BBQ with music, and more for activities for the residents to choose from.

A Place for Mom has scored Rose Senior Living at Providence Park 8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
