outstanding loving caring staff
Our experience was outstanding, they were so wonderful to our loved one. They put their residents first always, and would always check-in on our loved one. They kept up constant communication with our family even if it was late in the evening. Their number one thing though was the genuine care they showed the residents, you could really tell they loved their people

MorningStar Senior Living delivers resort-style living at its community in Lone Tree, Colorado. The community’s contemporary exterior is surrounded by lush, green landscaping. The open and airy interior resembles a modern hotel with a warm dining area and airy sitting space.
The community provides memory care services and assistance with activities of daily living, while encouraging residents to enjoy their independence. MorningStar offers studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments, as well as around-the-clock care from the trained staff. Community Tour
The only reason we didn't choose them was because they couldn’t provide the level of care we needed. But I really liked the facility. It had a lot to offer - a swimming pool, a work out facility, and nice outdoor space for people to gather in.

Tour of MorningStar Senior Living
Our family was able to have an in person tour and it was excellent. All the representatives were wonderful, exceptional and answered all of our questions. However it was just to expensive for us.

Our tour experience
Our family had an in person tour and the facility was very nice, the location was great it is surrounded by a lot of shops. However at the time it was full and had a long waiting list.

A Great Place to Live
I have made so many friendships here in the last six months. I have all kinds of friends now, and I don't eat alone anymore. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner I eat with freinds. It's just a very friendly pace. I have a dog, and they have a little park here for dogs, which my dog appreciates. I think my apartment is great. It's very expensive, but I can afford it, and I know I can't take my money with me, so I'm going to spend it. Housekeeping is included, and they do an average job. I find dust sometimes, but they do clean the bathrooms and kitchens really well. We have to wash our own sheets, but if we lay them out, housekeeping will put the clean sheets on the bed for us, which I really appreciate it.

Great place for your mom!
My mom has been in the Reflection's Memory Care at Morning Star at Ridge Gate since September 2018. Our family is so relieved that she is safe, cared for and LOVED! Of course we are sad that her dementia is rapidly advancing but we can't think of a better place than this facility. They have only been open for less than 2 years so they do have their growing pains. Every complaint I have had was immediately dealt with and a solution was given. Mom is happy doing activities that keep her busy. She is making friends with other residents as well as staff. She has gained weight with all the yummy food she has been served. And her religious needs have been met. This facility feels like OUR family's home away from home as well! The staff greets us like their family too!

If You Love Your Parent, DO NOT Put Them in MorningStar.
Had my mother here for 6 weeks in Memory Care. Beautiful facility, but forget about proper care and services. Promised service rarely delivered. What you get is an extremely high priced apartment, mediocre food, careless cleaning services (housekeeping and laundry) and medicinal services that are not to be counted on.
Care staff not properly trained. Express concerns to upper management, and they blow you off. Even concerns expressed by our medical provider - given directly to care management - were ignored. MorningStar is ALL about the $$$.
This review given after having my mother in two MorningStar properties a total of 1-1/2 years. This review is NOT sour grapes. It is given after MS given several opportunities to improve care and services. If you want the best care for your parent, go to Balfour.

Large facility with a pool
I toured this facility while looking for a place for my Mother-In-Law. It is a very nice facility but it is on the larger side. The marketing director who gave us the tour seemed to be very knowledgeable and even let us know all of the advantages of residing there. They do have a swimming pool, a larger outdoor space, and a nice courtyard. This facility also has independent care, assisted living, and a memory care unit. I would recommend this community to other families.
