This place is smoke and mirrors. Beautiful on the outside and looks are deceiving. The food is horrible and kitchen staffed by very inexperience people. They put food out that is the same thing over and over and just call it something different. The vegetable of the day last night was mushrooms, onions and peppers. That is not a proper vegetable side dish. The cleaning is a bit subpar, and not really a thorough cleaning. Residents have emergency buttons but have been told to call 911 as no one will respond to emergency buttons in the cottages. Concerns me with my elderly mother living there. They have community meeting where the supposedly listen to their customers, but nothing happens. This is a for profit business, and these are their customers, not children to brush aside because they don't know what they are talking about.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review-we would love to speak to you more about this. Would you please reach out to our Executive Director Kelly to discuss your concerns further? Our menu is created and reviewed by a registered dietician with direct input from the residents at the community. We routinely have a food committee meeting where all residents can place their input directly to the food services director. We often take surveys from the residents to make sure we are meeting their satisfaction as well. In regards to the emergency buttons-depending on the location there are different services that are provided at The Meridian. For example, the cottage residents are independent residents and services cannot be provided as directed by the State of Washington. We do offer a different level of services in the Assisted Living. You are correct that we do have community meetings and there is follow up. If there is a specific issue that you feel is not being addressed we would encourage you to reach out to the Executive Director Kelly or call the community and request the regional director Jake. We look forward to speaking with you.
This is a very beautiful property. My husband and I were welcomed and shown around the facility. We are interested in Memory Care for our Aunt. The people there look so happy and were interacting with the staff and each other. The comfort level there is so amazing. I wish I would have known about this place long before now. Looking forward to our Aunt having a wonderful life here.

Hi, we are so pleased you enjoyed your visit to The Meridian at Stone Creek! We are always more than happy to assist you if anything comes up. Please let us know if there is anything that we can do for you, we look forward to seeing you again soon.
I am a Registered Nurse who’s in laws reside at this facility. The one thing we have learned about senior living options is there is Non-Profit and For-Profit facilities. Non- profit facilities operate on different principles, such as dedication to seniors. For-profit facilities have requirements for a return on investment, that necessitates to keep costs low which can negatively impact a residents quality of life. Meridian at Stone Creek is owned by a For-profit corporation called Pacifica. We have found our experience at this facility, that the company’s return on investment takes priority over the health and safety of residents, services offered, salary and benefits and fair treatment of employees. Looks can be deceiving....do your homework and ask a lot of questions when considering senior living options... There is a big difference between non- profit and for- profit facilities. Talk with residents and staff about resident turnover rate, employee retention, satisfaction of being a resident, support that staff receive from administration, the Director of Regional Operations, and Director of Patient care. Ask about training and education the company provides to employees. Check through the Department of Health the quantity and type of citations the facility has received. Trust your instincts.
