Hospitals and rehabs constantly said an assisted living wouldn't accept my mom, but Legend of Lancaster did and in my opinion did very well. All of the staff were friendly. I feel the long term staff went out of their way to make my mom comfortable. Unfortunately, they were experiencing a fairly high turnover at the end. The food was really very good. I ate many meals there and they were very good. Housekeeping was above average. The bathrooms in the rooms could have been cleaned more frequently, but were at least average. The move in process was very easy, and they were willing to supply most furniture including a tv at no additional cost. Communication was above average. They called day and night when necessary. The one improvement I would suggest is more staffing. They would frequently put a large number of residents in the TV room with no one to supervise them. That seems to be when arguments or falls were a little more common. They also partner with a very capable physical therapy group that did wonders for my mom.
