The rent just went up considerably and now the point system for services is also going up. Be aware that this happens regularly and needs to be planned for. \n\nIf your loved one needs additional services they are charged based on a point system where a seemingly random number of points are assigned to each service. For example, if your loved one is found to have a severe speech impairment (based on their assessment), 6 points are assigned. You'll pay per point (let's say $18), which means you'll pay an additional $18x6 on top of monthly rent. Hands-on assistance with incontinence is assigned 74 points, so factor $18x74 into your monthly costs. Make absolutely sure you understand the care costs/point system when considering Ivy Park.
