Every staff member we encountered was helpful, positive and prompt in helping in any way they could. Heather Ridge was frankly, an absolute godsent in our lives and the life of our mother/mother in law. \nShe was in serious financial trouble, having been evicted from her previous nursing home when her Medicaid was denied. She was wheelchair restricted, completely reliant on SS, and without financial resources. \nWe were recommended Heather Ridge by A Place for Mom, and both were an answer to our prayers.\nHeather Ridge staff met with us and Mom right away, and listened to the complications of her situation . They were kind, understanding and managed to work out a custom rent plan to accommodate her needs and severe financial limitations. \nTheir staff went above and beyond helpful, from aiding us in moving her in, to seeing after her daily wants and needs \nMom never had a complaint while living there, and made quick friends with the residents and staff. (I once had to wait 25 minutes) I don't blame the staff, they're busy taking care of residents!
