Heartis Clearlake

Very good experience,would recommend. It got her involved, would not leave her alone in her room.made her engage with others.

I would highly recommend this facility. The staff is readily available and genuinely friendly from housekeeping to dining staff to the front desk and maintenance. Housekeeping picks up trash daily, cleans apartments and changes bedding weekly, and maintains the common spaces to an immaculate level. The meals offer a menu with a wide variety of choices for lunch and dinner along with daily dinner and lunch specials. Both meals include beverages of choice and a desert. There is also a M-F Happy Hour from 4-5 with a staff maintained bar (2 drinks max/person) just to allow another social opportunity. There are two shuttle buses and a schedule for taking residents to doctors, shopping and running errands. There are also trips to go out for dinner/lunch and special outings.

My Mom likes her new living situation and the staff has been wonderful. We picked this community because, it was recommended by a friend, the facility was clean, welcoming, and I was very impresed with the staff and activites.The enitre program, was head and shoulders above what we were looking for as it relates to the price. I would recommend to others.

I toured Heartis Clearlake and it was okay. The cleanliness was good. The staff was polite, The top guy said that residents like to stay in their rooms??? There were no residents out and about during my tour.

Our tour experience was not the best. It was the sales reps first day on the sales team and she was late and just was not sure what she was doing. I do not want to ding them on that because I am sure she has gotten better, but the tour was not the best. It did look to be a very nice facility though.

Our family had an horrific experience, we were there everyday for [dates removed] and we would spent countless hours making sure our loved one was easing into everything. The communication was just horrific - from administration down to the day to day staff - one person would be told something and you would never knew if the correct staff member would get the correct information. We were traumatized by the entire thing and if anyone asked us about Heartis Clearlake we would say run as fast as you can. The training is terrible - the care givers are not trained they way they are suppose to. I would not recommend this community to anybody

It did not fit the needs for mom.

I toured Heartis Clearlake and I thought it was fine. My loved one's chose another community because they preferred the size of their rooms and the outdoor space.

We had a good tour at Heartis Clear Lake, and I felt it would have been a suitable place for my parents. It was just up to them to decide which of all the suitable places we saw that they preferred.

We had a good tour at Heartis Clear Lake. I personally really liked them the best! It was a new and modern facility. But I had to keep in mind what would be best for my mom. And it was a larger community than she would have felt comfortable in.

We are very happy with our experience with Heartis Clear Lake. The staff is friendly. They do have activities available for the residents if they would like to participate. The food seems to be good, from the smell of the it and my loved one is putting on weight.

Every time we call Dad, he's on his way to happy hour, a meal, or some kind of socialization activity. It gives us a great peace of mind knowing he's eating well again and is getting to know more people!

When he first got here the staff were all wonderful, but once covid hit they all left and they hired staff that did not seem to know how to care for Alzheimer patients. The food was also great when he got here but they lost the chef and it went downhill. They were not changing the sheets on his bed, bathing, or shaving him. The staff members here were very hard to get a hold of and we could not get any information from them about what was going on. During covid he was just stuck sitting in his room all the time. It was not a good experience and I would not recommend them.

We toured this community and the facility felt like an office building. There is no outdoor area for the residence and the tour was very short. The person scheduled to do the tour was not there and we had to wait for some else that could do it.

I have recommended this facility to lots of people but they have had a lot of staff turnover and management changes. Also, we have had 3 rate increases in the past year. It's a beautiful place and extremely clean. depending on your situation I would recommend this facility

I love this place! They are always helpful and return calls quickly. My room is always clean and neat. [name removed] that activities person is always keeping me busy,

We chose Heartis Clear Lake because of the friendliness of the staff and they had a perfectly designed memory care unit which really drew us to it. One thing I would tell people would be find out for sure yourselves how the staff handles covid. Ever since we left, we have learned they did not handle covid well at all. Another thing I would tell people was if you develop a good relationship with staff from the beginning, they really hang in there with you and help you.

The staff there are dedicated and really care for the residents that live there. The food is good. I chose this community because it was super clean, the staff seemed very involved with the residents, and they were more affordable than all the places I looked at.

So far this has been my favorite

My neighbor's dad lives here and loves it. He says the food is amazing and he loves the staff. I am looking for my parents who may need assisted living in the next year or two. I have toured and it is has a very nice community feel.
