Our loved one would probably say the quality of the menu items could be better, especially meat entrees. They are tough or dry, and may be covered with a sauce to mask it. Activities are well planned and there is variety from what I personally see, however, my dad prefers to keep to himself. I lived alone for many months, finally realizing that eventually I had to make a change. I wanted to face these decisions while I still could, and not wait till my children had to make them for me. I made an appointment to visit Green Country Village. I timed this appointment when one of my sons would be visiting for a few days. I was first impressed with the decor and atmosphere, secondly, I was impressed with the staff members that I met. That evening my son and I discussed what we had seen and what we had learned. My greatest concern was being accepted. I realized that most of the residents were retired from the corporate world. I had been in retail all my working life. I was concerned, I was hesitant. A few days later, [name removed] called me and invited me to spend three days and nights as a guest at no charge. This proved to be the turning point. I met many people over breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I knew this was it. .

[name removed] (wife) and I moved into Green Country Village [date removed]. She had a stroke on [date removed]. After my daughter and I looked around, we decided GCV was the far best place to live. I immediately became active in the the residence counsel. I have enjoyed it ever since. The secret is to get involved and stay active. Be around people. My wife passed away [date removed] after [incomprehensible] home eight years. I have highly recommended to friends and will continue. GCV is a wonderful place to live and entertain guests. The staff from top to bottom are friends with residents from Bartlesville and from Georgia to Washington. I love it.
I have been very happy living here at Green Country. I like my apartment and the walk to the dining room is good for me. The staff is friendly and always helpful.
It is fun to visit my mother who lives here

Response from Green Country Village Inc
May 2, 2022Thank you for the kind review, Faye! It is a pleasure serving you and all of your friends. Residents like you make Green Country the wonderful place it is! Warmly, Sheryl McComas Executive Director
Green Country Village truly is my home. when my husband and I moved here in [date removed], little did we know that three months later we would learn that [name removed] has terminal leukemia. due to severally abnormal blood counts - especially low white blood cells, he could not be here at GCV. I was never "alone" here. I was in double jeopardy now as Covid was raging and we were isolated in two different places. but GCV stepped up and became my family! I cannot say enough good about them.
a very warm and comfortable place. the staff is very friendly.
We love it here! The staff makes this place so wonderful. The staff is willing to do most anything to keep us happy. The maintenance men have t do some crazy things but they are happy to do them if they make us happy - same way with every apartment! We are so grateful to be here!
It seems to be a great place. The care there is tremendous, and I expect that flows from the top down. They do a good job with cleanliness, even amidst some renovations going on right now. The staff are great. The food has always been really good. Activities are great as well. They provide a lot of opportunities for things to do, and they work really hard to get the residents involved. The cost is pretty high, but it seems worth it. It it's something you can afford to do and you want your relative to be taken care of, Green Country is a good place to go. They really do a great job.

Our loved one came to Green Country from another community and they are fantastic, she is really starting to feel at home here. Both the staff and residents are very friendly and have made it appoint to call her by name, and make her feel included. The community even has a dog park that is fenced in, which is really nice since our loved one has a dog. Our loved one is finally able to experience the socializing atmosphere this community brings, and so far it has met all of our expectations.

I love living at Green Country Village (GCV) for many reasons, not the least of which is that they have taken excellent care of us during the COVID-19 pandemic. They have kept us safe and worked so creatively to entertain us while we wait for things to return to normal. A year and a half ago we moved into our 2-bedroom apartment (we love to have our adult granddaughter visit). About 6 months later my husband moved to the Lakeview Memory Care unit of GCV where he is cared for by the kind and caring staff there. Before the pandemic, I would walk over and visit him any time I wanted to, and I could have the evening meal with him. We look forward to that resuming when it will be safe. The food here is so good, and prepared in healthy ways. One thing we all love, and miss during the pandemic, is joining friends for the main meal served in the attractive dining room by cheerful and attentive young waiters. This, of course, was pre-pandemic. Right now those young waiters deliver our meals to our apartments! The free van service has helped me take my husband in his wheelchair to doctor appointments. It was great to have the maintenance men come and hang pictures and shower curtains, and they have always shown up quickly to fix all the little things that need attention. I really appreciate that the common areas are kept spotless, and that there are areas where groups can gather for meetings or to socialize. The super kind and friendly staff are always doing things to enrich our lives and make it more fun to live at GCV. Before the pandemic, there were so many activities that it was hard to choose which to sign up for. The staff is really creative, coming up with special treats & events to make the lock-down more bearable. Everyone loves the Happy Hour Cart coming to our apartment doors on Friday! There is so much more to love about living at Green Country Village. Come spend a night or two in the "Staycation" apartment and see for yourself!

GCV Bartlesville is a great place to live. My wife and I moved in this past November as the steps in our long-term home were more than she could manage. We found GVC to be very well managed and marvelously maintained. The entire staff that we have encountered (serving, maintenance, and administrative) are competent, friendly and exceedingly helpful. Before the pandemic, the scheduled activities from chapel, educational, and happy hour were wonderful and great ways to meet and socialize with other residents. Because of the virus, large group gatherings are no longer possible but, where possible, individual activities to maintain moral have been provided. Management has done every thing possible to prevent the virus spread. The facility is extremely safe in all ways, we love it.

If you are looking for a place for your loved one, look somewhere else. They don't care about their residents. The nurses there, [Removed] were unprofessional, hateful, and rude. In Assisted Living, the only assistance you get is with bathing, getting dressed, and they will give you your medications. Other than that, if you need something else, they tell you that your loved one can't stay there and they must move. The housekeeping is terrible. They had left old food out and ants were all over the place. They were crawling on my family member. I have voice messages recorded from rude nurses. I have videos of nurses and how they spoke to my family member. I have witnesses to what I heard and saw. I am reporting and showing everything to the State Board. They also show no compassion when a family member passes away. All they want is for their belongings to be moved out within 24 hours and they want the final bill paid immediately. Also - if you try talking to any of the directors, they are always conveniently in a meeting and can't be bothered.
