Dunwoody Pines has been a nightmare due to theft and lack of surveillance and security. Employees stole leased furniture. And corporate will not pay for damages.

During the tour the community seemed empty, as we didn't see any residents and very few staff members. We also didn't get to see the entire community. The pricing seemed more expensive than we wanted.
They give the residents more carbs, than vegetables. They need to improve on the food, and customer service. The apartments are pretty clean. The staff needs to do better, with handling policies, and enfocing rules.

What stood out to us about this facility is that it's close to where we live and that it's the right price. It seems to meet my loved one's needs. My loved one says the food is fine and they clean his apartment once a week.

You have to be able to go on your own to all of the things they provide to meet people. When I first came here I tried to socialize- but there was just a lot of complaining. The food is not good - I do not eat here. They could definitely improve on that. It does cost a lot. I do not get much from the facility other than a room.

I think for senior living, Dunwoody Pines is an excellent value, a great service, and a beautiful facility. How they initially handled the move-in, they did a really good job. And they were really gracious when my loved one passed away shortly after moving in.

The staff members at the community are great, they are so welcoming, they made you feel very warm and welcomed. Every staff members from top to bottom are extremely personable, they want you to have a sense of comfort being there knowing your loved one is in a safe place. We do know our loved one goes down to the billiard room and he talks about how the residents will get together for football games and have a happy hour

I have been a resident at Dunwoody Pines Retirement Community for a little over 6 years now. It is an independent living community and I found a good fit for my needs for the price. Very satisfied.

Our family really likes the cleanliness of the community as well as the staff members, they are very accommodating and responsive. Our loved one really enjoys the meals that are served and based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend Dunwoody Pines Retirement Community to other families.
My family member is loving it at Dunwoody Pines. It's a comfortable space for her to live on her own with 24/hour surveillance and access to help if she needs it. The apartment is good, although it could be a little big bigger. But It's one of the best facilities that I've seen.

I have full confidence in the Dunwoody Pines facility and staff in continuing provision for my mother thanks to my own observations each week I visit her as well as my mother’s own reports each time she happily shares her experience. The facility is super clean, remodeled in all its amenities, and the food is top of the line-all three meals freshly cooked everyday!

Last month My daughter and I had an opportunity to visit the property of Dunwoody Pines. The manager [name removed] was very professional and helpful his sales manager [name removed] gave us a very great in-depth tour of the property which we loved. Unfortunately we’re unable to move there simply because our lease is not up at our current senior property. I would highly recommend the management and the staff of this facility. We are hoping that Dunwoody Pines will have availability at the end of our current lease. Rev. K. J. Tart

We toured with Dunwoody Pines and it was just not going to be the right fit. They did not offer 3 meals a day, 5 days a week. They also did not have some of the same amenities that we were looking for.
My sister loves Dunwoody Pines so far. I took her here to tour and she looked around and really liked it from the start, the apartment sizes are very nice. She does like to cook and the apartment that she has does not have a dishwasher or oven. They do offer a lot of activities for the residents, but she has not participated in any of those yet. I would recommend them to others looking.

They are missing a few key employees here but once they get fully staff it will really help out, but I sure would recommend this community to other families.

Our family had an in person tour and the woman who gave us the tour was lovely and very friendly. However the community itself was just to dark and empty feeling.
