Everyone is always friendly and helpful. If I need anything or ask a question, they always get back to me. The nurses are friendly and available. The techs are as well. Sometimes they are short staff but they make it work. They could improve the food, my mom is not a huge fan. I would like to see more activities for her to do. Overall, I'm pleased and happy with her stay there so far.... Read more

Just like everywhere else, staffing shortages are the most apparent and biggest challenge. However, our mom is happy and seems to be well cared for.

We've had a very good experience at Cranberry Park at ShorePointe. One of the most telling things was when my brother had a health issue. I was speaking with him on the phone and didn't like how he sounded. So I called the wellness center, and they immediately went and checked on him. They checked in with him multiple times, and when they were concerned about his wellbeing, they didn't leave his side except to call me to tell me what was going on, which I thought was excellent. Before I took him to emergency, they immediately printed up information on what as going on with him, his list of medications, etc. to take with me. I appreciated how well they handled the entire situation. On a more day-to-day note, the food is excellent, plentiful, and tasty. There was a little bit of a miscommunication in the beginning that they would automatically be accommodating his dietary needs. They do have appropriate choices for him, he just didn't know he needed to ask. But that has all been sorted out now. And we've had a great experience overall.

Hope you are checking on your loved one constantly if they are staying here in memory care. Every excuse not accountability.

My mother resided here for 4 years.. She fell from her wheelchair at home. She could not walk. She could not get to phone. She was hospitalized then transferred to nursing home. She wanted to go home but that was not possible. She was not happy and angry with me. The caring/loving caregivers and activity staff were able to change her attitude. They became like family. Having a doctor and nurse who could see her on site was very helpful. If staff was concerned about her during the night, they would call me to discuss options. On a lighter note: Initially, mom said bingo was for old people. She was 92 !! One day the great grand kids said they wanted to play so she reluctantly joined them. She then became addicted to playing and winning quarters. After mom’s passing, I volunteered here until Covid restrictions. I couldn’t leave the residents and staff !

My mom spent 2 1/2 years at Cranberry Park at Shorepointe. She was welcomed and we were pleased at how well she settled in to her new home. The staff couldn’t be more accommodating and caring. She enjoyed her new surroundings and never complained. It was a great fit for her and for our family. Would recommend this community for other families.

In [date removed] we enrolled Dad at ShorePointe Village. He was then 92 years old. He had an active mind, but his health was failing. He wasn't safe alone at home - with a bedroom upstairs, a basement, a kitchen, and non-ADA bathrooms. He liked ShorePointe with its busy community, activities, an attractive apartment with room for some books, and a visiting room where his many friends could stop by. Dad lived at ShorePointe until his passing in early 2021. As his health failed. ShorePointe conscientiously increased his care, and staffed his needs. During the COVID crises, ShorePointe diligently kept its residents safe and provided zoom calls in order to compensate for the inability of residents to have face to face visits. A helpful, responsive and competent staff managed and cared for Dad. The business office was always ethical and precise in its dealings with us. We highly recommend ShorePointe at Cranberry Park.
