They've been great. Really helped with my moms transition. I've even been to some of the activities. Everyone is so nice. They have outings and that really makes my mom happy. She loves to get out and do stuff. She has made friends and they have raisin toast, which is her favorite. They send an itinerary of the days activities and they come up with a variety of things to do. She loves the salon too!

They're very responsive to our concerns. And they are very accommodating. There are a large group of staff that truly care about my loved one. They visit with her and spend time with her when they don't have to. The facility is quite lovely and recently renovated, so it's very attractive. It's expensive compared to other places, but they provide a higher level of care than other places.

We had a very good tour experience at CareOne at Hamilton. The girl that took care of us and showed us around was very informative. The facility was clean, and everything seemed to be very nice.
Very dark, not up to date.
The tour was nice and they did a good job showing us what all they offered. For us, we were looking for a facility that focused only on Alzheimer's/dementia and this facility did not provide that.
The cleanliness of the community is so far so good, and we have been very impressed with the meals and dining service. Sometimes our loved one does not participate in the activities, sometimes she just sits and watch but we do know they have plenty going on. There is bingo, and cookout days. We are good with the value for cost also.

This wasn't a good fit for my loved one.
We chose CareOne at Hamilton because it is a nice facility, clean and organized, the location is convenient for family, and also it carries multiple levels of care so it could be the start and finish. The room sizes at the facility are adequate for what her needs are. My best advice to anyone looking into this facility is manage the expectation of what your loved one ones and make sure to tell them. I would recommend them to others who are looking.

My grandmother was happy at Careone. She felt loved and cared for by her aides and activities people. Her room was clean and she generally enjoyed her meals, which was saying something since food was such a big part of her life. She loved to cook. The building is pretty and the staff friendly. We really appreciated having a nurse in the building 24 hours a day, it put our mind at ease. Cost was a factor for our family, but when all was said and done, most places cost the same or more. The director was accessible and easy to talk to. There was always something going on, Bingo, live music, art and all varieties of celebrations.

My Mom stayed at CareOne at Hamilton this past year. She was hesitant to go to an assisted living. She'd been in the hospital a few times and our family came to an agreement this would be the best way to go. It turned out to be much more than we expected! It was really hard for my Mom to get used to, but, the staff was so friendly. She was able to continue her rehab, enjoy the activities and remain as safe as a 94 year old could be. Mom was much more independent then at home and little by little she accepted the change. She has since passed away, but, the time she spent there in her last months was so appreciated by our family. Many thanks to the staff and all who care for the residents at CareOne.

A place can look beautiful but if the love and care is not there it’s a mirage Mom loves her aides She enjoys the food The only issue we have as a family is the Nursing Director She is not personable She rolls her eyes when I go with a concern she does not get back to me to me it’s like she don’t care This is a major concern

This place is beautiful hotel like it’s missing personal touch Photos of Residents &Staff on walls would make it more homelike The Spa area not completed been over a year The Director of all Nurses is a poor choice she truly is self center yet narcissist She is not warm nor inviting to residents or us as families She gives me the nastiest stank face when I question her about my mom or care not done Maybe it’s a permanent frown she wears Her co Director a older woman who I believe works 1-2 days a week very loving Care staff very good

I was a temp stay at Care One Hamilton I believe they refer to it as respite . To be honest this was not my first choice for one I wanted to go Home. When it was clear that Home was not an option we agreed to a nurse to meet with me. Discuss options. The nurse who came was very honest and sympathetic. I could tell she truly cared. She was not there to sell me but to explain what they had to offer. She is the reason why I chose Care One Hamilton . The staff truly went out of their way for me The care aides were very good my pendant did not always work . The Nurses in Day were clearly caring and knowledgeable I was not fond of the lady in black in charge of supplies She was loud wore a scowl and looked mad all the time The head nurse a skinny loud obnoxious woman she was not only unhelpful she was sarcastic she debated with me on Political issues Then made a comment that I was in utter shock I was so glad to leave this establishment I will say I enjoyed the meals and activities . I can also say the house keeper a plump woman of color did a fantastic job

My parent has been living at Hamilton care one for few years The food is delicious The activities staff are very pleasant I think more activities would be great especially after supper to host a activity Nurses are the best The new Wellness Director [name removed] To be honest she comes off very defensive. She is a bit rude. I have heard her talk down to staff. She seems very upset if a resident or family member want to talk to her She is too busy . She comes off very unprofessional chewing and snapping gum as she talks to others. I am sure she is well experienced but I do notice she is a true dictator
