Brookdale Hamilton gave a really good virtual tour. I really liked it there. It was definitely one of my top considerations. I liked how they cater to the residents. I remember them saying they have different groups for activities, and things like aroma therapy if your family member didn’t want to participate in a big class, especially in memory care.
I have nothing good to say about them. After visiting about a dozen nursing home, I decided to settle on Brookdale Hamilton. I spoke with someone about this community. I brought him there, and he spoke to several staff members and he had dinner that evening, after walking in on his own to his room. The next day, we found him hunched over in the wheelchair. Over the next two weeks were the same, and he wasn't eating. We finally went down and spoke to the Director of Nursing and wanted to know what was going on. We asked if he was eating, dehydrated, etc. She told us that he was well hydrated. I ended up taking my husband to the hospital due to dehydration, and was in the hospital for seven days. He had heart problems, and the doctors were concerned about an impending heart attack, after six days on fluid the diagnosis was severve dehrdation. The doctor wanted him to go to rehab, and he did and walked out rehab with assistance. Then went back to regular daycare Due to my husband being at Brookdale Hamilton only fourteen days, it cost us $21,000 total. We had to pay for January, all of February, and all of March. The community insisted it wasn't dehydration, even though the hospital care staff said it was. The community wanted to see him at rehab, and I didn't want them to see him. They were receiving reports and that was enough. The Director of Nursing went to rehab, and demanded to see my husband. I am thankful that the paperwork at rehab said that only family could visit him. The afternoon activities were music on the TV for an hour, and that was about every day.
My visitations were always friendly. The staff always cared for the patients! They were friendly and always helped when needed. The patients had some activity to do each time I visited. There health was always a priority. Meals were always on time. Would recommend to my friends!
Everytime you visit Brookdale Hamilton you will be greeted with smiles and hellos at the front desk. The staff is caring, compassionate, friendly and knowledgeable in their respective jobs. Upon enrollment, a personal care plan is set in place according to his/her needs. Each day is filled with activities that incorporate physical, mental, social and spiritual needs. Also, residents are treated to a well-balanced meal plan in a dining room setting. Family members are kept well-informed on a monthly basis via newsletter and calendar. Mom tells me all the time how much she enjoys living here and that's why I'm glad I chose Brookdale Hamilton!
My Mother has blossomed from the love, care and attention she is given by the Staff, Nursing & Aides. It makes me so very happy when I call and hear that my Mother is enjoying every minute of every day in activities that stimulate her mind, body and social skills. I know that she is well taken care of, is safe and active. I have peace of mind that my Mother is in a great environment where she is learning and growing each day thanks to the skilled personnel at this facility. Keep up the terrific work, everyone at Brookdale Hamilton!
Started out great. Care rates quickly go up and no added benefit seen for my mom. Staff is slow to respond to residence immediate needs. My mom always looked dirty and unkept. Her room smelled and I had to constantly ask for it to be cleaned. I asked for her medications to be reviewed and changed several times - nothing. Mom was there for 9 months and I am now very happy with the decision made to move her.
Family Home like Facility Activities are beyond Fun and engaging Food could be better especially selections Care aides very caring only issue is no one lets me know about items needed for example hygiene items Director is very sweet and always welcoming Nursing not very approachable except [name removed] she is always helpful but ARCC she never has a answer nor a solution she nice but never gets back to me she seems clueless therefore I will go directly to ED

We are extremely happy with Brookdale Hamilton The care is excellent. It is extremely clean The one negative is when good staff leaves I will admit we were not a fan of the wellness director but we were a fan of the RCC she was very caring dedicated I appreciated how she kept me updated how she took time to sit with me answer questions, concerns or helped me with understanding what was ahead and how it was all going to be ok She was reassuring She treated us especially mom as her family that made me feel good I know in this field people come and go but this the second RCC we loved who left it is just sad for us as family members The other staff is great too although the evening staff not as friendly or helpful or loving except [Removed]The executive director always there for us I'm happy
My brother did the tour here in this community and he felt that the staff did a very good job, they took their time showing him around and answering all his questions. He liked all the amenities they offered and said he would recommend scheduling a tour of this community to see what they have to offer first hand.
Extremely Friendly Loving Staff. It was a Perfect choice for mom The activity department is Outstanding They truly care The best is how engaged everyone is It is a Team One great thing is there is no smell no odors just fresh and spotless clean The staff are caring they take pride in the job and respect and love the patients Nursing is dedicated always willing to listen very informative and helpful It makes the move effortless knowing your loved one is in good hands Although mom time was brief We were extremely pleased with this beautiful loving facility and staff She truly loved it there Most touching is the Staff came to mothers services Nursing sent card afterward It was truly appreciated and We recognized this was more than an assisted living It is a family
My tour went well and they were really nice to me. I found out this is a memory care only and they would not allow my parent's dog to move in with her. They were also in an area that she was unfamiliar with.
We are New to this community Our Mom has never been happier To see her active and social is a plus What a huge relief and comfort to know she is being cared for so well
