At Brookdale Springdale, residents have daily access to person-centered memory care and assisted living services from skilled team members. Here, staff members are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to be alerted to any emergency situation. An alert system and keypad entries are also used to provide extra security on-site.
Do you need help with medication management, bathing, grooming, or other activities of daily living? Look no further — Brookdale’s team puts your health needs first. Their exclusive HealthPlus program also prioritizes residents’ wants and needs. When medical care is needed, a Care Manager — or registered nurse — coordinates the care services you need with the health care providers of your choice. Brookdale’s team builds relationships with doctors and nurse practitioners who provide comprehensive care services on-site, helping to prevent unnecessary trips to the doctor or hospital. A few of the services offered include annual wellness checks, immunizations, and health screenings. If needed, residents can also receive support for chronic conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, COPD, and congestive heart failure. By coordinating your care, Brookdales’s team works with you to meet your goals directly. Do you have a favorite meal or activity you enjoy? Let...

This community was very good and friendly and a smaller community. This community had the home like feel however, the rooms were very small and we wanted a larger space for my loved one.
Initially the friendliness of the sales people really stood out to us, and it is not a rather large nursing home and it is first floor only. However, the meals and dining services is sometimes a hit or miss with our loved one.
They were very welcoming, and they went out of their way with Covid going on to get my loved one out of the assisted living where he was and kept falling. They made it so much easier than it could ahve been. They were just very freindly and acommodating. I was very pleased wiht them for the short t ime that we were ether.
We were recently allowed into the building and all we could hear was the Caregiver [name removed] cussing about another patient. I don’t recommend this place. Our family had reached out to management once before and she has still been allowed to work
The staff were great. The move in process was so easy. The executive director was helpful, and took care of everything. The wellness coordinator was absolutely fantastic with my dad's assessment and she remembered him which was meaningful to me. There were always activities going on every time I was there. My dad really liked the care staff, and prior to living there, he didn't like many people. My dad was a very picky eater, and the dining staff work hard to offer him choices and accommodate his requests.
I really like the size and individual care that my step=mother receives at Brookdale Springdale. The rooms are bright and cozy and very roomy and homey. I am disappointed in the menu. I was led to believe that the meals were home cooked and prepared on site. I found out afterwards that this isn't the case. Breakfast is great but the other meals leave a lot to be desired. I would like to see more salads and fresh fruit and vegetables offered. I realize that this is a small facility so not many choices to be had but I would still like to see more variety. I am also very disappointed in how hard it is to get into the facility and back out again. It takes forever for someone to let you in or out. Also the sign in and out sheet needs to be worked on. It is not very accurate. But overall the facility is just perfect for my loved one. She needed a small homelike place, easy to get around and familiar surroundings. Also the staff is so accommodating to my loved ones needs. They allowed us to plant some tomato plants outside and put up a birdfeeder. Overall it is a great place!
Although the care and staff at this community appear to be excellent, the rooms and common areas are dark, worn, and frankly depressing. I also noticed that there were only a few men residents.
Very nice facility, location is accessible and quiet. Staff is very friendly and more wheelchair accessible in the living area. Cost is a little higher than last place I toured but they are capable of handling a larger scale of health issues. Assessment scheduled for [date removed]
I do not care for Brookdale Springdale at all. Years ago Brookdale was Sterling House and that was a wonderful place I had known people that resided there and it's a shame that Brookdale didn't continue with the way things were over there. I am not sure if it's the administration or what but the feeling of the facility is just old. Maybe it needs to be updated or the staff's attitude needs to be more upbeat but I was not impressed with it.
I have to say that nothing compares to the community we ended up placing my dad in. This community is fine the staff is helpful and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions on the tour. The building was very clean and the outside was nice but there was just something that I couldn't put my finger on that didn't sit well with me.
This had a more nursing home feel. Dark in lobby, hard to get in and out, not greeted well. Residents not interacting or even talking-slotting staring into space. Had odor. Will not consider this setting. [Removed] was helpful and informative.
This seemed like a nice clean community when I visited. I just did not get the feeling this community would work for my dad. The person that took us on tour was nice. This community offers activities such as word games, trivia, movie nights, board games, bingo and live entertainment.
We toured this community and we were not happy with the community not being clean. the other residents are not active and the staff does not seem to keep them active. We did not like the layout of the community. The staff were nice and answered the questions that we had. We would suggest that other families tour this community for the care of a loved one
During my mom's adjustment, the staff have gone above and beyond. I can't say enough great stuff about their care, empathy, and availability. I have been there enough with her, encouraging her to be apart of the variety of activities and meals. They have an excellent cook who makes a variety of food to pick from and accommodating special needs. I don't see the activities coordinator talking down to residents but encouraging them. Mom looks forward to the days for manicure and a hairdresser available to the facility, She has an excellent doctor for her care, he is very friendly and recalls everyone's name. They allow small pets as long as the resident can care for their own pets.
This has been a wonderful experience for my family member. He is happy here, the food is good, the people are nice and respectful, and it's quiet and quaint. He feels like he has a home at last!
The Brookdale Springdale was one of my favorite communities from what I toured. The place was very nice and everyone was so friendly. The tour guide that took us around was on time and knowledgeable. We ended up choosing another one because of location, but this one was a good option!
The staff that takes care of mom has been great and they are really good. The therapist we had a little run in with, but all is well. Mom kind of likes the food. The community is kept clean and neat.
My loved one is doing much better since we moved her into this community. The staff is friendly , they have their bad days sometimes where you can tell they do not want to be bothered but I don't blame them. The meals are the main thing we are not very happy with. The portions are very small and I've heard from multiple residents that they are not allowed to ask for more, as there wouldn't be enough for everyone. Also, I would like to see more variety in the choice of food, almost every night they have sandwiches. The room my loved one is in is very comfortable, and she has made friends with some of the staff and residents.
The community was clean, however I think they could have done a better job with the individual rooms. My dad likes the food and I think it smells good. They offer a locked gated memory unit. They offer some activities for the residents to enjoy. The staff do really well and are friendly.
It seemed very crowded in the assisted living part of the community. It was less expensive $3,600 plus but I was not overly impressed.
