Brookdale Mansfield

Mother has lived at Brookdale Mansfield for over more than 3 years. She loves her home, the staff and friends she has made. We have been extremely grateful for the care Mother has received. The staff is very kind, caring and compassionate to the residents and their families.

All l the staff are always ready to care for our family member. We are thankful for their passion for caring. Day or night we observe facility and patient care in support of our loved one’s health, safety and quality of life.

My dad has been at Brookedale Mansfield for over a year. He has Dementia, and requires quite a lot of assistance. The staff has been wonderful to him and us. They liove him and he is happy and well cared for. We knew this was the place for him on our first visit.

Brookdale Mansfield is not at all what I expected, I was pleasantly surprised at how much the workers and managers interact with the residents! They all know them and their needs! The chef came out and offered us cookies Sales woman was so informative, she helped us so much with everything we had on our plate at the time, I like that is small and just sweet place, my mom had two in mind and were so glad she chose the one in Mansfield!

Finding the right Assisted Living facility for our mother for the first time was made stress free working with [name removed] at Brookdale Mansfield. We scheduled several Assisted Living visits/interviews and Brookdale was by far the best choice. The staff is very professional and caring and our mom loves your new home. Cheers

Medication aids were not trained properly. We were told that we should not complain because they are the ones taking care of Mom. Example she used was like if you complain about food in a restaurant they may spit in it. Staff did not all understand English very well. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE!

They have really nice and sweet staff. We picked this community, because I thought the smaller setting would be more intimate and easier for getting around, but my mom has mentioned she would like more of a chef type menu with different choices in meals. I would recommend to other families.

I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

I toured Brookdale Mansfield and I did not like it. It just felt kind of run down, but the size of the rooms were nice. The person helping us was very nice, but the community seemed very old and run down with not as many caregivers. For me, I didn't feel it was the place for my dad. The ratio between men and women consisted of a lot more women than men. I was looking for a place for my dad to fellowship, so for me it wasn't a good fit.

We never thought we would be in a position of needing an Assisted Living Center for my Father-In-Law. We realized, after a few trying times, that we would need to look into a center that could provide a safe place for him to live. We searched around our community—and are incredibly happy we found Brookdale Mansfield. The community feels like wonderful members of our extended family. There are always knowledgeable staff to answer any questions—who are also eager to share a laugh with the residents. We look forward to the days we go visit and can’t express enough how grateful we are to have found such an amazing place. Brookdale Mansfield does an incredible job keeping the residents actively engaged throughout the day. I’m quite positive they have more on their social calendar than I do. We would HIGHLY recommend the community to anyone looking for a safe, clean, FUN, family atmosphere! We are truly blessed to have found such an outstanding center!

The tour was great and very nice and gave me the information that I needed about the community. I was able to see everything that I needed about this community. I did not like this community too much, I seen a staff member communicating with a resident in a way that I did not like. The tour was nice it was just that one experience.

Our loved one was only there for a week so we are not able to give feed back over the meals, and activities. However the staff during that time was very caring towards our loved one and other residents.

When I got there, the front door was broken, and you had to Arnold Schwarzenegger muscle your way in. There were some other maintenance issues that just put me off. The people there were so nice. I just didn’t feel like Brookdale had the same amenities as another place we looked at.

This was our only experience with Senior Living. Some of the staff members were non-responsive. This facility over billed us on a regular basis. They would increase the pricing without notifying us. The food was not good, but my loved on is very picky and has a horrible diet. This facility could have had more activities. No memory care available at all. The staff seemed consistent, but level of care and understanding of staff was limited.

The tour was above and beyond my expectations. Everyone was welcoming and, surprisingly, all seemed to already be knowledgeable of, and have taken an interest in my brother's circumstances. The facility itself was very impressive, clean, had a very homey feel, and appeared to be well managed.

My uncle went to Brookdale Mansfield in April of 2015 and is still there getting excellent care. Sometimes when I am there during lunch I have a meal with him and his friends. He gets treated like a celebrity by both the staff and his co-residents. The family considered other places but decided on Brookdale. We are very happy for that decision. Additionally I want to comment on my confidence in the Executive Director [name removed]. On the occasions I have needed to speak to her she always makes herself available.

I visited the facility when I was looking for a place for mom. [Name removed] was very helpful and understood my concerns. I did select another facility which had memory care.

I really liked the Brookdale Mansfield community. It was a really nice facility. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It looked very clean and well-maintained. It was open and bright. The only reason we didn't choose this community is that we had to choose a facility that was close to all of our family members to be able to visit dad often.

Mom is doing very well here she is really enjoying it. The location was perfect only about 5 minutes from my brother. She is doing the activities such as bingo and other things. Mom is liking the food for the most parts there are days where it isn't as good. We would definitely recommend this community to anyone.

My sister-in-law's move to Brookdale Mansfield went very well and she is very happy there. The community and her room are both very well kept up and clean and the staff is all very nice and willing to help in any way they can. My questions and concerns are always addressed. My sister-in-law likes the food and we are able to follow her diet nicely. There are lots of activities and my sister-in-law likes joining in. There's bingo, exercise classes, field trips lots special events that the residents can join in as well. I would have no trouble recommending Brookdale Mansfield to friends and family.
