[name removed] was very helpful and gave a thorough explanation of their facility. I was impressed with the public areas and the activities but felt the rooms were too small for our situation. I was particularly disappointed with the pictures we saw of the bathroom. I really think the sink need some counter around it.
We chose Brookdale Grandon Farms because I got a very good virtual tour at the time as well as the value for the money. He is in a shared room and I think it is a little snug. We have had a few issues with administrative staff with communication and not taking care of things we asked for. But overall it is a very beautiful place and I feel like he is getting good care. I would definitively recommend to others looking.
This facility was extremely nice. The staff was friendly and informative.
I've talked with the staff on the phone, and they really explained why they were changing units for my loved one. Due to the health decline they were able to get him more assistance with daily living activities. We try to have virtual visits when we can.
My loved one was only there for a short amount of time. During that time my loved one fell. The community wouldn't take them back after going to the hospital. They let us know the community requested he go to rehab prior to coming back to the community. I wish the communication with the community would have been better. I feel the community wanted more money instead of coming up the alternative solution.
I would want others to know that we had a terrible experience here at Brookdale Grandon Farms . We put my mother in law into memory care and we were promised that since she was the least advanced, that she would be able to go into the non memory care areas since she barely needed it. Once she moved in here, they never let her out and we were disgusted with the care she received. When she did need assistance, it was not provided. I would tell others to stay away. Nothing they promise is promised.
We chose Brookdale Grandon Farms because it was recommended based on their needs and finances. We really liked that they also provide a monthly rate instead of taking all of the money up front. The room sizes are adequate for my parents needs. I have eaten here and the food is great, they have a lot of opportunities for snacks during the day as well. The best part about the community has been communication, but it is also not perfect. They have just started porch visits since COVID. I have recommended the community.
I love this place. I would highly recommend this community to friends. I found this place to be clean, extremely helpful, and professional. The rooms were neat and clean and had enough space. The room was big enough for my loved one.
Brookdale Grandon Farms is a great community, as good as you can get. Staff is wonderful. Helpful care services. [Name removed] is excellent. Very attentive staff. They have a ton of activities, and they really encourage the residents to attend activities. No negative comments at all.
The stay and facilities have been ok. The facility has over charged for services and we have been fighting for months to have them corrected and credited. Arbitrary withdrawals are made from accounts that do not match invoices. Other withdraws/invoices have been more than the original signed/agreed to rate. Rates for services are much higher than other facilities. Standard rate looks good until any service is needed. Can not get a detailed invoice by personal service.
