Value for cost
When touring this facility we felt that this was very overpriced for what we expected. The memory care unit was not what we expected and the residents were roaming around on their own. I did not see the one on one care that I needed for my loved one.

We are sorry to hear your tour of Brookdale Farmington Hills North did not meet your expectations. We want to thank you for taking the time to visit and provide feedback. Our staff is committed to providing the highest-quality service and care and we will share your feedback with our management team.
We chose Brookdale Farmington Hills North because I had a connection, a friend of mine knew the administrator and highly recommended the facility. My mom was only here about 6 weeks, but they took great care of her and always called me with any updates. I would absolutely recommend them to other families looking.
I did not get the warm fuzzies like I got from another facility. There is nothing wrong, it was just not the right fit for us.

Our loved one is not able to participate in the activities but we do know they offer a nice variety. The value for cost is very good we have been really happy so far.
We would recommend this community to others
My ratings are prior to COVID. I would recommend for others to check this community out for their loved one. The appearance of the community has current aesthetics and is clean.
Brookdale Farmington Hills North is a wonderful place for my mom. The staff is very friendly and caring. The activities helped my mom thrive. The entertainment and parties were so much fun until Covid came. Hopefully it will be back to normal. The staff still manages to keep spirits uplifted with the residents .My family highly recommends this facility for your loved ones.
It is important to stay involved and be present. I liked the layout of the community, room sizes could have been larger. My husband was in memory care. The showering situations were difficult in the community bath. They have secured outdoor space for the memory care folks that was monitored. The staff was caring, my husband was treated like family.
Had a great visit today. Met some terrific staff who were fully engaged with the residents.
I found the place to be very nicely decorated, but very high priced. The add ons on top of the monthly rate was way over budget.
I really liked the staff here. The residents appeared well cared for and busy. Really had a nice home feel. [name removed] was wonderful. The facility was clean and well maintained. I liked the fact that they only do memory care.
Looks like care would be great. Outside of my mother's price.
Under $5k for studio. Very good reviews - target needs for dementia and offer special programs. Memory care only; small shared rooms; community shower for everyone - dated; all memory care
We toured this community. This would have been our other choice for good care. The staff is nice and able to answer the questions we had for the care. The list of activities looked appealing for they would have been helpful for her needs. We recommend this community for the care and value for families.
I really like this community for good care. I like that the community with the variety of different care that is offered. The food is very appealing with a nice variety to choose from. The activities are nice for active residents to participate. The community is highly recommended for great care and value to others.
I have been very pleased with the staff at this community. They have been very motivating on helping my loved one become content and motivated to get involved in the different activities they offer there memory care residents. I like that it is a small facility and a lower resident count so they can have more one on one time with the staff if need be. So far I have no complaints and would recommend this place to anyone
We toured this community and the staff were very helpful and kind. We did not see alot of the community, but we did have something already in mind. I did not see the menu or activities at the time we visited. I think families looking for care should consider this community for themselves.
I am very happy with my decision to move my mother to this community. The place is kept clean, it was already furnished when we moved in and the rooms have a good smell to them. The community is small, only about 20 residents total, so everyone knows everyone's name. The staff take very good care of my loved one and keep her very safe. They offer many activities such as painting and story time which I think is lovely.
My father is adjusting pretty well to this community. It is a nice place, and we are pleased with his move here. They have a good staff. The community is well maintained. Everything is nice and clean. We know he is being cared for well and he is in good hands. He is safe, and so far everything has worked out well. I would recommend this community, it is a good place.
Excellent care for my loved one. I had my spouse stay for 2 weeks respite. Everyone cares deeply about the residents at Brookdale Farmington Hills North. The staff is fantastic. I would use them again.
