The community itself was kept very clean, however our loved ones room was not as clean as we would of liked for it to be. The communication was excellent, they were always in contact with us about our loved one.
The community is very clean. I would recommend this community to others for their loved ones. The food was good, and my loved one enjoyed having family eat with them. The room was good for my loved one during their stay.
Do not place your loved one here. If you do, be prepared to step in when they let your loved one run out of critical medication, don’t clean linens or care about hygiene, leave medication in the residents room, and falsify documentation stating they administered medication at the same time video footage and police reports clearly showed your loved one wandered off while under their care and was 2 miles away from the facility.

We appreciate you sharing your feedback. We would like to assure you the safety and well-being of our residents is our top priority and are aware our management team was working with the family regarding this matter.
The staff is very friendly and quick to work together with me to resolve issues. the facility is clean. There could be more activities, but the facility is a very good value
Brookdale At Champion Oaks has been a safe and clean place for my relative. The staff members are helpful and friendly.
My mother has lived here for almost 3 years and is very comfortable. The staff is very compassionate dealing with the residents and seem to really care. The management has always been helpful and readily available when I have questions regarding my mother's care.
After spending some long hours & many days visiting my mom, I really got to experience day to day life at this facility. I can honestly say the staff is VERY talented, compassionate, patience and respectful. I know my mother is in good hands as she adjusts to her new surroundings. I would totally recommend this facility. The food is good, the activities are fun and the garden is a little oasis for the residents. Being out of state has been very challenging, however communications with the staff and management is prompt and professional.
We have had some issues with not cleaning up all of the affected areas leaving the bathroom and room floors still dirty from the incident for days after. They seem to do the minimum in most areas. My father never liked it. We moved after 8 months.
Brookdale Champion Oaks is like a family. The residents interact with each other and the staff like brothers and sisters. The aides and helpers are patient and try to meet the needs of each individual, which isn’t an easy job. While not as fancy as some facilities, the apartments are adequate , and they have a little library, meeting rooms, and a smoking area. As a caretaker for my brother, I have had great communication with staff and management regarding his unique care situation. My brother seems much happier and relaxed. The food is good, too.
