The community is very nice with friendly and helpful staff. Some of the activities offered are arts and crafts, outings, and more for the residents to choose from. They are willing to work with dietary restrictions if your loved one has any.
Whatever is verbally said I would recommend you get in writing from the community. I would recommend that you make sure that staff is available to meet your loved one's care needs. There wasn't enough monitoring of my loved one during their stay. My loved one was in the community during the pandemic. The staff was overall friendly. I felt the community was accommodating in allowing me to see my loved one and it is conveniently located. The community tried to assist the residents and families during this time. The food could have been improved. I would recommend you visit and check it out. I'm sure it is a different place with activities going on.
We chose Brighton Gardens at the time because of the location, we were able to get to her quick. We also liked the cost for what you were able to get. The room sizes here were very generous and they get a lot of daylight. The facility itself was always very bright and modern. It is a larger facility that we were used to, we did not know she needed that extra care. Hospice reached out to us and the care was better with them. One thing I would like to add was the front desk girl came to my aunt's funeral, so that was very nice.
We chose Brighton Gardens of Tuckerman Lane because they had a 2 room suite on the ground floor available. It has made it very nice especially during covid, we can do window visits. The doctor also recommended the facility. We have eaten here and the food is decent, they do have a dining area and you can make reservations to have meals with your loved one. The best part about this facility is the friendliness of the staff members.
We did not have the best experience with Brighton Gardens of Tuckerman Lane. Their communication was bad with what was going on in terms of how bad the spread of the corona-virus was inside of the community. The staff was pleasant, but I felt she was not getting the level of care that she probably needed. It was hard to get people to talk to me about what was going on so communication was the biggest issue. I would be terrified to put anyone in assisted living right now with what is going on.
The friendliness of the staff did vary a lot depending on who you dealt with. Our family did have an incident that happened at this community where our loved one fell down and laid on the floor for about 45 minutes, no one came to check on her which resulted in us taking her out and moving her to a different community. The food was pretty mediocre, the rooms were fine, about average in size.
This place offered a friendly environment that I know my mom would love. It is definitely on our short list. The facility really had a homey feel to it with lots of activities for all residents.
Look carefully before agreeing at discharge to have a patient sent to Brighton Gardens - Staff and Management - Inattentive, untrained, unresponsive, unpleasant and uncaring. A very bad mix for a loved one being discharged from a hospital. There are no words to express the profound disappointment in Brighton Gardens management and staff. A cancer patient fighting to regain some assemblence of dignity was afraid and in tears that the staff would not come within hours of a call and feared retribution when family members were not there for support. Shame on you Sunrise for allowing such a situation to occur at your Tuckerman Lane facility. Here is the level of care being delivered and draw your own conclusions. Patient was left for hours after requesting help to the bathroom. With no help, multiple times the patient was left wet, again for hours, without fresh pads being changed or cleaned despite requests for assistance. A disgrace. Patient was left for hours in a chair hooked up to an empty tank of oxygen. Staff didn't check and family members had to get help twice in two days. Food service in the room poor and cold. Food in the dining area better on the temperature front but service is abyssal.

We are leaning toward this option. beautiful location; residents looked happy; fits in our price range.
The staff is nice and the community is clean. I do not feel like the staff is trained in certain areas. The staff have been helpful and trying their best. The menu is good and they offer healthy meals. We would suggest that other families tour this community for the care of a loved one.
I recently had a tour of this community for my loved one and I have no complaints of how things went for us. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions we had for them in detail. They had an open floor plan with lots of great amenities available to all of the residents. It was just not the right location in the end decision.
Everything went good with the tour. I saw nothing wrong and it was very nice. The are a larger community with a lot of residents who are more independent my mom. I liked that they had a nursing services available if the care was needed.
We toured this community and the staff was nice and helpful. We liked this clean community that offered a lot for the residents. The menu looked appealing and the activities would have been nice. We would recommend that families tour this community for the care of a loved one.
This is an outstanding community. We are pleased with the care from this community and like knowing that the community is clean and well maintained. They offer a good variety of meals that are enjoyed. We would recommend this care and value of this community to other families for care for a loved one.
It's a beautiful facility! Everyone is friendly. Our issue was that they do not have a dedicated/secure memory care floor. Our dad was confused and tried to leave a few times. We didn't predict this behavior or may not have chosen this facility. We had no choice but to pay an outside agency to come in and watch him as this facility did not have the staff for this. This extra outside help was very expensive. We ended up taking him to a secure Sunrise facility which Brighton Gardens recommended. It's working out great. I highly recommend Brighton Gardens for Assisted Living.
This community did not seem to work out for my friend. She had a short rehabilitation stay here. She did feel that she was verbally [Removred] by one of the staff members. There was one staff member though that she really liked. The community was clean . This community does offer skilled nursing and assisted living apartments.
The staff has been absolutely wonderful with mom. She just is not transitioning very well I would like them to do more for her. They do offer activities that she can get involved with. The food is okay nothing to call home about. The community is always kept clean and neat for her.
The staff here is great and they are doing a great job. The community is always kept clean and neat. Never any problems with that. I liked that they were the best that I had seen and they are really close to me. I can see my wife everyday now.
If I thought that there was a better place this close I would move my parents immediately They are trying to make it better but it's slow going and all the while we are paying way too much We also have to supplement the care the BGTL provides The food is horrible: the activities lacking
Top-flight, very professional and extremely friendly managers and caregivers. Great food, premises and location! Prompt and courteous service at all times. I give my new home an A++ in absolutely everything!
