the best i have been to yet

My mother has been to all type of care center. This was one of the best ones out of all of them that we have been to. The staff was friendly they kept me informed on everything with my mother. They did not allow her to constantly lay around. they made sure that she went to all of her doctor's appointment's There they had great activity. The administrator was always visiting with us, Checking to see if all was well and if i had any concerns. i would love to have this as a choice for my mom it is better than any other facility Medicare pay for

Horrible treatment

The rehab and skilled care ( [removed]) are awful. 45 min to 75 min waits for them to get our family member to the bathroom, and then another long wait to help her off the toilet was the norm here. This means there were many times she had to sit in a dirty “diaper”, because she couldn’t hold it. No one could, if you have to go! At least two (confirmed staff members were rough with her to the point of making her throw up. One was a PT, believe it or not. When you aren’t there to check on your loved one they are worse, and mean. One lady said a night CNA would basically bully her. Our loved one got a toe fungus there from their bathing facility and when we asked the “ doctor “ and nurse practitioner ( who stop in for a 5 min check once a week) they said they couldn’t treat it because it wasn’t a medical facility??!! If it’s not a medical facility then why are they there? Why see patients if you can’t treat them? It was a [language removed] excuse. If you truly love your person, DO NOT bring them here. One good thing is the food was good.

First Time Good, Second Time Not So Good

The first time we went there we thought it was good. The second time we didn't think it was so good. My mother went there for rehab. The first time I actually chose it. It had been recommended to us by my mom's physician as being one of the best rehabs for eldercare. I went there and it was old and funky and tiny. The nurses and aids working there were old and funky also and that tells me that they've been there a long time and they know what they're doing. I don't like cheerful. Cheerful means you're just out of school and you don't have a clue.
