We absolutely love it there, and everyone is so nice. Our loved is very happy there. The rooms are very nice, they offer three different types of rooms with different prices associated with them. Our loved one is now in the largest of the three. The people there are all wonderful, we are never afraid to talk to them if something comes up. They work really hard to take care of the people who lived there, i do not think you can find a staff as nice as they are.... Read more
We began our quest into senior living because of our love for our beloved mother, Mary Bickford, whose needs became too great for us to manage. As we researched senior living options, we were shocked at our findings. The options offered too much or too little none met her needs and nothing felt like home. Since we couldn't find what we wanted, we decided to create what we needed. Our main desire was to create a place that helped her achieve an equivalent peace and happiness that she had earlier in her life.
We understand that selecting a senior living community for your loved one is one of the toughest decisions that you will ever face. We will work with you to ensure that the transition is as easy and comfortable as possible. Whether your loved one is at home, in the hospital or even in another state, we can work with your hospital, insurance company, and doctor to make your difficult decision easier on you and your family. Aging can be difficult but we've also seen the beauty in aging. Our mother's happiness inspired us. We created Bickford for her and now we're devoted to serving yours. ...

Good community, price was more than expected.
Our family had an in person tour and we really liked this community but it was just a little to far away from us and we wanted to be close by incase of emergencies .
Looks nice but not interested in a community/buy in fee. The location was also the furthest from my home.

Our family had a virtual tour with this community and it was really nice, it had a good set up. However we just thought the person who gave our family the virtual tour was a little to pushy, but the facility was still very nice.

Where mom would be happy, I feel This is the right place. Family managed, well established, friendly, staff was smiling and happy, benefits were more than I could have imagined. [Name removed] was super, she took the time to find out about my mom, and her likes and special interests. She compiled an entire page! This was so important to me. She said, I cannot offer you placement at the moment until we send a nurse to assess her first! SOLD Plus [name removed] called to learn my views about what I thought of Bickford, on Tues! She even called my sister in Washington, to tell her about Bickford.

Jennifer, salesperson, very deceitful and will say anything to make a sale. My mom was put in a shared room with a mean, angry and rude woman who had been kicked out of another facility. Before we moved in, I was introduced to the roommate who was nice, but on move in day we're given someone else. The nursing staff witnessed the roommates bad behavior and assured me they would speak to Jennifer about moving my mom. Jennifer would not listen to my family or her own staff and we had to stay in this room until I could find a new home for my mom. Originally, Jennifer promised me that if the roommate situation didn't work we'd be given a new room; however, when we had problems Jennifer said there was a 10 person waiting list and offered no solution other than leaving. I was promised a full refund, but as of today I'm still receiving bills from Bickford. My mom was also missing some of her medications as the staff hadn't ordered all of her medications from there pharmacy prior to our arrival. For several days my mom wasn't getting all of her medications. I feared for my mom's health while we were there and I wouldn't recommend this AWFUL place to anyone.

It was more expensive. The reason that my mother didn't go there was becasue they have a $5000 community fee or buy-in and their rate was about $7000 a month.
