We are one of only 25 senior care organizations in the country certified in the I'm Still Here approach to dementia care and engagement. We offer a compassionate solution for families with an elderly loved one who needs some level of assistance with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, cooking or laundry to those needing maximum support due to Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia. Our 24/7 nurses, on staff nurse practitioner and therapist, and specially trained care staff help residents stay active and engaged with purposeful, individualized activities, educational programs, fun and unique outings.
Our secure memory care, Ackerman Traditions, is uniquely located on our top floor, with dedicated nurses and activities staff, wide open spaces, private dining room, and a showstopping secure outdoor porch to view the ball games and the other inter-generational activities at the community center next door.
Monthly rent includes all utilities, delicious chef-prepared meals, laundry, housekeeping, daily activities, group transportation to local shopping and restaurants, and private transportation to area medical appointments. Rent also includes complimentary membership to the Marcus Jewish Community Center and access to their indoor/outdoor pools, fitness center, education programs and classes, theatre performances and much more.
Open to all faiths, Berman Commons is dedicated to the Jewish Home Life Communities' tradition of honoring fathers and mothers while offering peace of mind to their loved ones.
