A good place for mom
I like this community because it is small and there is a nurse here all of the time. This community is spotless clean and the food is terrific. My mom loves it here. They have activities like art projects, themed celebration days and more for the residents to do to stay active and busy in the community.

A good place for mom

We checked all Assisted Livings in Scottsdale, and we are blessed to have found the Belmont Village. As an owner of Dementia Care Units in MA, I can tell you, look no further.

[name removed] did not like this place at all. It was depressing because there were mostly people in wheelchairs who obviously needed a lot of care. Minimal activity. More like a nursing home. The place itself was nice but [name removed] needs more life, more going on.

Amazing!
We just recently moved my mother and father in law into memory care at Belmont. We cannot say enough good things about all of the staff and facility. From the person at the front desk to the admin to the caregivers everyone has gone above and beyond to help make this a smooth transition. I have to also give extra praise to Christy and Sandy! These ladies are amazing. They truly are an advocate for the family and residents. They are always available to answer our questions and really helped us all through this process. We checked out several assisted living/memory care facilities and Belmont was hands down the best. It is clean and updated. The staff are all amazing. The caregivers and nurses really care and have taken wonderful care of both our parents. If we could give them 10 stars we wood! Thank you Belmont staff!

Overall a great community
Our loved one really seems to enjoy the meals, and when we are able to visit the community is really clean. Due to covid the activities are pretty limited but they do the best they can and we would recommend the community to others.

Grateful for Belmont !!
I placed my mother at Belmont Village, as she could not manage on her own at home after hospital and rehab visit.
The entire staff was warm and welcoming !! They did everything possible to accommodate my mother in just a few days. The nurses and caregivers were consistently professional, warm and helpful. The residents were friendly and the facility clean and welcoming. The food is great !!
I’ve always felt assured when visiting my mother and she was making new friends !!

The senior advisor helped us find bellmont I like the idea of in between care for assisted living and a dementia unit. The place is clean and pretty the apartments are very nice and they have a pool (although its use ended up not being quite what was described) getting a hold of people by phone is very difficult but when you do they do try to help and are nice I think email
in person and appointments are better .I'm not sure if the front desk are volunteers but it would be nice to have them trained and given information I think they are working on it . They do answer the phone right away during day hours. (Evening hours and night time I heard they are working on a new phone system that the nursing department can answer easier and convienent for them )

The staff and management are very professional and kind. They understand the service they offer very well and strive always to do their very best for the residents. The food service is excellent and coordination with outside vendors for medical needs of residents is exemplary.

[Removed] showed us a nice tour. We knew quoted prices would be more in a Assit. Living bldg, but she did make some concessions bc my mother did not need care at this time. Bldg was very clean, appealing, with lovely color changes per hallway. She showed us various available rooms so that my mother could age in place. Wonderful walking paths on site.

Would Not Accept Mom
After explaining what sort of care my mother was in need of this community told us they wouldn't accept her. The staff was worried that she would get out and take off. The community itself was smaller than others we had looked at. The staff at least was honest and upfront about what level of care they would provide but it was still shocking to be told they wouldn't accept your loved one.

Staff is Very Supportive
Mom has been through a lot in the past few months so to say moving here was easy and she has adjusted well wouldn't quite fit. She is doing better than before she is slowly starting to make friends the staff which has been wonderful and encouraging. She is still getting used to her new surroundings and has to settle into a new routine. The one things she absolutely loves is the food she looks forward to meal time. The community almost gives off the feeling like you are living in a hotel on a permanent basis. I would highly recommend this community.

Belmont was a nice small community neat and clean and the staff did a great job with the tour answered our questions but it just was not the right fit for my mother as the rooms were too small. And she did not feel like she would fit in here.

Our Experience Here
This community has been very supportive of my loved ones. During a difficult time the staff were very good at accommodating my dad. My mom, she is trying to like the community, is an adjustment for her. The people here are so very nice to her and the director, he is very helpful, supportive, and outstanding.

Great stay so far!
My loved one's stay so far is going quite nicely. The facility looks very clean and the staff are great. There is a high nurse to patient ratio, which we appreciated. Overall, this is a significant improvement over the last facility that my loved one was in!

Had to Consider Traffic
I toured a very nice community but I didn't like their a/c unit in the room. They built a wooden box that took too much space and it had sharp edges. For a fall risk that concerned me. It was located in an area that can get congested with traffic. For us to visit, there would be a traffic issue.
