The medical assistants at Bavarian Comfort Care have been wonderful through these last days and also are extra special with my dad. Thank you all. The hands on touches we get from [name removed] the RN is very tuned in to her residents extra special knowledge of each of her patients/residents. She can help you know what you family member needs. The director of the facility is also right there when you need her, and is open and honest and really helpful with you to help you with your family’s needs. Bavarian Comfort Care is an assisted living community in peaceful Bridgeport, Saginaw County, Michigan. Bridgeport is a small unincorporated community right outside of Saginaw. The dedicated staff at Bavarian Comfort Care offers assisted living and memory care services. It's an okay facility, but I wish we would've spent more time touring other facilities in the area prior to her arrival. My loved one, doesn't feel like their carpet is clean enough. The staff on the floor, are very nice to my loved one and to our family when we are visiting. The staff members who interact with my loved one are very nice and is pleased with how they treatthem. No signs of my loved one being mistreated. The family encourages my loved one to eat in the dining room to avoid being in the room all day. I would like to see more daily activities to have available. While I understand that costs of every thing goes up it's hard to justify more money when on a limited budget. Also, It's very obvious that the facility is showing signs of poor facility maintenance. Would like to see some pride taken in the appearance of all sides of the facility not just the front.

For your feedback on the upkeep of the building, I'm happy to share that we already had plans to make updates to our building beginning early this year. So keep your eyes peeled to start seeing those changes. Regarding your feedback on activities, we always welcome our residents and families to let us know what type of activities they would like to see more of. Additionally, we take all feedback seriously and want to address concerns as soon as they arise. The facility seems very nice. It is assisted living and memory care. We weren't as impressed with the memory care wing. It seemed more hospital atmosphere. They prefer to have residents in the common area,so it easier to keep an eye on them. The dining area does not have structured seating. We didn't feel that this would be a good fit for Mother.

This is a very good community, and I am very pleased. They are caring for my mother very well. The community is very nice and everything is clean and neat. The staff has been very good, they are very good at what they do. The communication between me and staff is great. They have very good rates as well. The director has been very helpful, she is wonderful. The food looks great and she enjoys the meals. I am very happy with everything they have for us.

Very Clean and friendly employees. Makes you very comfortable when entering the home. It makes you feel like it's not a nursing home, but your love ones home. Their rooms are very spacious and you can decorate the room that makes you love one feel like they are at their own home. My mother has only been there for about a week, but so far I'm very satisfied with the care she is receiving. They always keep in contact with the family if anything is going on with your love one, physical therapy, etc. I feel very comfort knowing that she is well being taken care of.
