Highly recommend

We chose Aspen because it is a smaller facility that is all one one floor -we did not want him to get lost in the shuffle. They take great care of him here. The care is more personalized and the staff know all of the residents by name. There are only 12 people in the unit he is in. Happy with our decision

The weekday staff was great they were always going go go, however the weekend staff sometimes lacked a little which we do understand they were going through staffing struggles. Our loved one was starting to become very picky at this point with the meals but overall she liked them and the staff were very accommodating to her if they needed to make her something different. They offered plenty of different activities and even offered the covid booster shots. We do think the overall value was worth it and frankly we wished our loved one moved in sooner

Amazing Senior Care

It was Awesome. This was my first experience with leaving my Mom while I went on vacation. Aspen Living Place was wonderful from the beginning to the 14 day stay for my Mom. She enjoyed the staff and the other residents that live there. I appreciate all of the staff who came in contract with me and my Mom. The place is clean cozy comfortable. I would come back and if my Mom has to come back on a regularly basis that's the place I would choose. Thanks to all the Staff.

Great Place for a Loved One

They're amazing. The staff were so friendly and got to know us in such a short time. They were so attentive to my mother. The facility was very homey, very nice, and very clean. The rooms were a nice size. I heard form the other residents that the food was good. We had a little bit of sticker shock, but we were pleased with the quality they provided.

A Loving/Caring place for your Loved ones!

From the very first visit I had a warm feeling about Aspen. I visited many other places and was always drawn back to Aspen. They embraced not only my Dad but my entire family. I was always keep informed on how he was doing and any request I made was always completed. The entire staff was not only professional but very caring. It gave me peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. Thank you Aspen Staff for your exceptional service.

The staff communication with families is not good. Staff changes so often I don't even know a lot of them. Every time I go in there's a new person. I know it's difficult right now with Covid/staffing issues. But it seems like the staff is not being properly trained , especially in memory care. And I don't know that their staff-to-resident ratio is being followed either.

We appreciate your feedback. We strive daily to meet our residents and families expectations. While we all know employment issues are happening everywhere in every industry throughout the country, Aspen has a strong committment to hiring their own team of caregivers. We do have a buffer from agency staffing however they do not know our residents as well as our own team does. Because of this, we are mindful to provide them with resident summaries for each resident. When it comes to communication, our administrator feels very strongly about collaborating with families and has an open door policy and gives everyone her cell phone number. We have team members who have been with us for over a year. Staff training for memory care must be based on diagnosis and person-centered care. Not all persons exhibit the same symptoms of memory loss. Our individual approach to memory care is specific to each individual's symptoms and diagnosis. When addressing staff to resident ratio, we do meet the requirements. Aspen is a very small community of only 20 residents per building when at capacity, so we feel this (our size) also provides our residents with a benfit other communities cannot claim. As one our Aspen family members, we would also like to ensure you feel you can communicate your concerns in person to our Administrator. We want nothing more than to work closely with our families to aquire the highest level of customer satisfaction.

tour of Aspen

we toured Aspen and found it relatively nice. we needed an apartment for two of our loved ones, and they only had studio units which were small. we chose another community because Aspen did not have the room availability we needed to accommodate our loved ones needs.

A place for Johnnie B

My mom was a resident at Aspen’s Assisted Living facility for 6 months. When touring the facility I noticed it was a small community and the staff and residents were very welcoming, which created a family like environment. Staff was always professional and attentive while caring for my mom. The leadership provided by Pam, Brittany, Camille and Linda exceeded my expectations making Aspen Assisted Living an awesome place.

Great place. A big relief that I don't have to worry about my dad's care.

I have experienced great communication from the director, as well as the intake person. Whenever I text to ask a question, or if I call, they always always respond. Communication is great, which I certainly appreciate. The staff is awesome. The facility is very nice, welcoming, and secure. I've sat with my dad while he he eats, and the food looks very appealing. It also looks like they do a lot of activities and post on their Facebook page.

Feels Like Home

There are some really, really good workers there who are really made for the job. They've become like good friends to my mom. The lady who is in charge of the business office however is not very nice. My only other complaint would be with housekeeping. Frequently I go in my mom's room, and there's not a bag liner in the trash, things like that. My mom really likes the food, although I think it could be a little healthier. But it definitely feels like a family, and I love that part of it. It feels small and close-knit.

Very Happy with Aspen Assisted Living

The atmosphere is really nice. It's not like anything else I ever came across. It's not like a nursing home or a doctor's office. It's not dirty, it's very homey. I am really pleased that they give you a heads up with everything that is going on with my loved one. It is a secure and safe place to live. The management is good, everyone is friendly. It's really like family here. The residents are like family, everyone gets along. And I am really happy and more than happy to recommend Aspen again.

Journey to greatness

Anytime anything happen we would get a call to make sure that we were aware. They always made sure we were in on what was happening. My loved one loves that activities and we have a lot of coloring and art pages now. This is the place to go would not recommend any other.

I love it here!

When I first came to Aspen I really liked the setup of the apartment because I had my own space for my bedroom, living area, and bathroom. I have my own furniture which makes it feel like home. We have enough girls and we have excellent care. We have good food and a good cook. My family is very satisfied with my living here. We have a very nice activity person. We always have activities every day - always something different, always something nice. They even let me grow a tomato plant in their courtyard. The owner of Aspen is a hands-on owner, which is very nice for us. I love it here!

Did not tour after discovering that they do not have a fall protocol. I was told in a phone interview that my mother-in-law would have to leave her door open so they could look in on her every so often. We are not comfortable with that idea. Otherwise I was hopeful this could have been the place for her. It's hard to rate without touring.

Residents come first!

When I walked into Aspen, I could feel the sense of home. From the greeting at the front door to getting questions answered, it was very comfortable from the get go. I have participated in activities with residents in this community and it showed how much the staff cares in making sure everyone had a good time and interacted with everyone. Residents look clean and well kept and most of all, they enjoyed the sense of community. You could tell by the look on their faces. The caregivers were eager to learn as well which is a true testament to the quality of care.

Aspen Senior Living is Warm and inviting

I've worked in Senior Living for twelve years, and the moment I stepped into Aspen Senior Living I felt at home. I was greeted warmly by a loving staff. The beauty of the vaulted knotty pine ceiling to the inviting fire place set the warmth of the house. There was a large social gathering area as you walk in for resident and families to spend time together. Pretty front porches with rocking chairs for nice weather family gatherings. The residents I met were happy and there was a family feel in the house.

I cant speak highly enough of Aspen Assisted Living Center. When my grandmother [name removed] was here last year she was treated like a queen. [name removed] especially, went above and beyond during her care... Honestly, there's no better place I could think of for assisted living. Aspen rocks!!
