Our community is the second community to be built out of the 50+ Arden’s in the United States. We are managed by a registered nurse and staff with longevity, many who have worked here for over 17+ years.
Our home-like environment is secured both indoors and outdoors providing the freedom for residents to walk around freely. The community is designed to meet the needs of those with memory loss. Our designed layout was created to be simple so it makes it easy for residents to wander around freely providing independence. The community is on one level with a house at each corner which has; twelve rooms a living room, dining room, kitchen and laundry room. The core of community is where our residents can find the hair salon/barber shop and nurses office. Residents are able to go outside and enjoy the secured walking paths and patio whenever they feel like it.
We join our residents wherever they are in their journey to meet their needs and focus on their quality of life while they can continue to enjoy what their interests are, socialize and make friends. Our structured programs and personalized assistance help each resident maintain their highest level of independence and promote the sense of well-being whether it is participating in our engagement therapy treatment, Namaste care, lifestyle programming or enjoying an individual pursuit. In addition to 10 hour of activities that is provided daily, our residents also enjoy monthly outings such as going to the county fair, apple picking, scenic drives, visiting local parks, lunch outings, concerts and more. We know how important pets are for those with dementia, therefore, we offer pet therapy on a weekly basis. Special note: Those who have a furry friend are welcome to move in alongside their loved one.
Our Care Team:
Arden Courts provides 24/7 onsite nursing, 1 to 6 caregiver to resident ratio, podiatry, psychiatry, laboratory, pharmacy, dentist, physical, occupational and speech therapy all of which is overseen by our medical director and executive director. Our caregivers check on our residents on an hourly basis ensuring their safety as well as 2-hour toileting around the clock. Additionally, we provide 15-30 minute checks on residents depending on their care need.
We provide 3 nutritional and delicious meals a day and offer snacks and hydration between activities. We can also provide meals for those who require a special diet.
Staff get training every 2 weeks on various topics such infection control, fire and life safety, dementia and more. In addition to the 2-week training, online mandatory classes are held monthly for all staff.
From the moment you pull into our parking lot and walk in the front door, you get that warm and fuzzy feeling right away. Our staff have hearts of gold and genuinely care for residents, who in fact become part our family.
