I am rating a 3 because of one thing, but it is major. They use a National company for their residents prescription medications and this company dropped 4 of my mother's meds causing severe reactions and discomfort. One was an antidepressant and she went into major withdrawal. It took us over a week to figure out what was wrong. Then the staff nurse practitioner at Anthology added 2 other antidepressants without getting approval from her primary care doctor and she had major reactions to that mistake. So I put Anthology at fault for both. The National company they are using has horrible reviews. All that said we really don't have any other complaints. But it should be noted that my mother has her own personal out of pocket caregiver that is with her daily from 8am to 8pm. The Anthology is a beautiful place and well maintained. The staff is very friendly. Nice that there is a hair and nail salon on the property. Lots of activities with a lot of variety.

We really liked Anthology of Tanglewood. The facility was clean and modern, the property was beautiful. It is a newer facility so they are trying to build clientele, therefore there were not as many residents at the time to do the activities. The people were all great too, it just was a little too modern for what my loved one is used too.

I have been living here for two months and am so happy with my new community. The staff and residents have made me feel so welcomed. I moved here because I wanted some services and activities and I certainly have received both. Our Events Coordinator, [name removed], is a sweetheart. She plans such fun events - going to lunch, going to the Farmer’s market, wine and cheese, and my favorite, Karaoke night. She also makes sure we stay active with exercise classes and water aerobics. The office staff has been very helpful. My leasing coordinator, [name removed], is still checking on me, making sure I am happy. The maintenance staff is always willing to make my life easier. Anthology is currently making Improvements. I look forward to seeing what is to come.

I have found the staff at Anthology of Tanglewood to always be cheerful and accommodating. My favorite amenities are the gym and pool. We have had excellent instructors during the eighteen months I have been a resident.

My dad lives in the independent living and he enjoys the ability to come and go freely. He feels secure there. They have a 24 concierge, and covered parking with gated entrance. The community is currently undergoing construction and adding levels of care and a larger commercial kitchen. The staff are very attentive and they have put in extra effort to get to know my dad as in individual. They offer activities to include the resident's individual interests. We chose community because of its location, it's a mid rise not high rise, and it's safe and secure.

We appreciate everything they do. They have been so nice to us ever since we moved in and are being very careful to observe the precautions that need to be taken to keep us healthy and safe from the virus. They are bringing us a special little gift to keep our spirits up and giving us things like mental activities to do. They are so thoughtful and so kind. We would like to name the ones who have been especially helpful, but that would be all of them!

[Date removed]: Back in December 2019, I inspected four Assisted Living and four Independent Living communities for my 81 year old mother. My mother whom was adamant she did NOT want to move. Anthology Senior Solutions Independent Living turned out to be the best solution for my mother. The reason Anthology was the best is because there was no comparison. Not a single other senior community even came close. The level of attention, warmth, hospitality, professionalism, and most important their level of CARING, was simply unmatched by any other Caregiving solution in the Galleria area of Houston. It was truly a TEAM effort, from the maintenance gentlemen, to the activities coordinator, the receptionists, the managers, the general manager, and even all the way up to the President. The entire team and organization are dedicated to caring for each and every resident of the Anthology community. Oh, I should mention the other residents also seemed to be a class above. I was fortunate to have moved Mum into Anthology just before the COVID-19 pandemic really hit the Houston area. And over the last 45 days my mother has been living at Anthology, the team has continued their unrelenting CARE and attention to details insuring the safety of the residents and the Team. Thank you Anthology Senior Solutions...
