When we spoke about what they can do and what they can't do, they were not able to accept one with feeding tubes. There were no problems and were upfront when I asked them questions. It was helpful getting useful feedback to ensure I was picking the right place for my loved one.

I am very happy with the care that my mom is getting at this comunity. The staff are nice and caring and attentive. The meals are great and a nice variety. This community is clean and maintained. We like that she is happy with the activities. We would highly recommend this community for other families.

It's hard to believe I will find a more impressive place. Excellent tour. I was very impressed by the over-all tone of the facility and staff.

The staff have provided wonderful care for my loved one, they specialize in the kind of treatment my mother needs. The administration has followed through with all promises that where promised during our tour, and have been very helpful with the transition into there facility.

Silverado Calabasas is clean, the food is great, snacks always available. The staff is very upbeat and attentive. It is pricey, but in this case you really get what you pay for. The activities are hard to evaluate because the residents are so diverse, but they try to have something during every day for each level of resident. If there is a question by the family it is listened to with respect and taken seriously.

Silverado is quite nice and the grounds and layout are a big plus. Sharon is sweet, understanding and very knowledgeable. The 24/7 nursing is a big PLUS also. They tend to push double rooms and furnished, which is actually a nice idea. VERY family friendly and I loved seeing dogs hanging out. Price is high-end, but you really seem to get a lot for it.

I was frantically looking for a place that could take care of my mother. She has dementia and was starting to get very angry using bad language and would hit the staff on occasion. The current assisted living could no longer handle her or didn't want to? I contacted A Place for Mom and within days they had many places for me to visit (which I did). I contacted Silverado Memory Care in Calabasas and they immediately and professionaly came to my rescue with much concern for my mom. They assured me that they would be able to care for my mom's needs and were not concerned of her behavior issues. My mom has only been at Silverado for a week and the change in her already is amazing. They have her involved in various fun crafts whether its cooking, crafting, or playing with the cute roaming animals she is busy all the time which makes her feel useful and not bored. She will be starting physical therapy next week which will help her to use her walker instead of being left in a wheel chair. Thank you Silverado!!

My husband was at this community for day care and it was a great place. The staff were amazing and this was my favorite place. The pricing was a little to high for full time care. They are still in contact with me to find out how he is doing. I would definitely recommend Silverado for day care.

Silverado Communities are top-notch. Their understanding of the needs of those who are having memory issues is amazing. Our mother/mother-in-law has regained some of her zest for life -- at 96 -- even though she may not remember exactly what she did that day. But that really isn't important. What is important is that she is well-taken care of, participates in numerous activities, and has become part of the community. The only downside was that at the time she needed to become a part of the Silverado family there wasn't an opening at her level at the Redondo Beach facility. We are anticipating that she will be moving there soon. However, where she is at in Costa Mesa is wonderful -- just a bit far away from family and friends

I looked at a lot of community's for my mother and I knew when I saw this one it was the best choice for her. She is doing very well here and I very pleased with this community. It is very clean and spotless. The staff is great they are always willing to help when you need it. My mother enjoys playing domino's and bingo. They do keep the residents very busy with all the activities they offer. This is a caring wonderful community.

My cousin resides at Silverado-Encinitas and although I live out of town and not able to be as involved as I'd like, the masters level social worker keeps me "in the loop" every step of the way. This really differentiates their community from every other "facility." From the front line staff, including the nursing team, to the Administratoe Lauren, they are hands on and really provide individualized care in the early stages of the disease, to the later stages. I can't say enough how incredible this community is.

I feel happy to know that my mother in law is safe at our home and in the great hands of the workers that come and take care of her. There is always someone making sure she stays on top of her activities.

Everything went smoothly, and worked out well.

Our mother was languishing in a small, private, residential board and care home. She received little attention and little stimulation. Mom seemed to be slipping away, and the owner of the board and care was pushing us to put Mom into hospice care (more $$ for the owner). We transferred Mom to Silverado, Sierra Vista in Azusa in March of 2015 after I had toured and visited three of their facilities in southern California. It was the best decision we ever made for Mom since she began her journey through dementia. Her whole life turned around. Now she engages in activities and is always immersed in a stimulating environment. She even gets exercise three days per week. And there is NO talk of placing Mom in hospice care. The staff are very attentive at Silverado Sierra Vista. They know our mother very well, and everyone on staff is very reliable, responsive, and exceptionally caring. The staff maintain a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. They are always careful to include residents in all kinds of activities. I look forward to going there regularly to hang out with Mom. My whole family is very pleased with the care our mother receives at Silverado. There are many stimulating activities and events that include residents and their families. I love that Silverado policy encourages the staff to bring their children to work to socialize with the residents. The community also has several pets: dogs, cats, birds, fish. It is not cheap, but it really is the best place for our mom.

Silverado Southlake Memory Care Community has been a good experience. They are still building up their activity program since they are a new facility. The staff are really friendly. They are doing a great job at accommodating my fathers dietary restrictions. They really focus on showing dignity to their residents and that is something I appreciate.

They were wonderful. They were beyond amazing. It was beyond any expectation I had. I was so glad I found it.

The staff are fantastic at Silverado At Home Ft Worth. They are just great. My mother is difficult to deal with and she is having a hard time getting adjusted. I have been pleased with the way the staff are handling everything. I really have nothing they could improve on. So far things are great. I am just hoping my mother gets adjusted.
