My husband was a resident and I paid monthly on time. I paid a month ahead and my husband passed away at the end of the month. I collected all his belonging and donated the rest. He died at the end of August and I prepaid for services in September. The owner agreed that she would refund me for September and would mail me a check. 3 weeks pass and I saw no check, so I called again but owner would not answer phone. After numerous messages that I left, I never got a phone call back. I then had my family member call the owner. The owner promised the family member that she would send the check in the mail. Again, to this day, I have seen no check. The amount was $7,000.00.

im not happy with sunahine house the owner will keep your money when your loveone passes away. I had to go to state of Maryland for help.

We are very sorry we ever used this facility. It was not a friendly place and lacked ANY activities. Food had no flavor aND we always felt uncomfortable visiting. We never could reach Dad by phone. Language barrier existed. They own 5 homes imagine they are all like this. The website Caring for Mom said this one had a pool and religious services nothing there.
