Manors of the Valley

I really liked Whitehall Manor. The facility is actually very pretty and they had a lot of places outside that you can sit with your loved ones. The memory care unit looked really nice, there was a big area and when residents walk out of their rooms they are in that big area, there is no hallway or anything. The staff was always right there and they can keep a good eye on the residents. Unfortunately they were renovating the memory care unit so it was shut down. If it weren't for that, my mom would be here. It looked like a really nice place.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The kindness of the community has stands out to me. Every time we would visit my loved one the staff were very kind to us. The communication was good, and they answered everything I needed to know when I asked them. Medication management, bathing, dressing assistance and more are some of the care the community was able to assist with. The location is the only thing I would want to change about the community.

Our loved one received more skilled nursing and the staff were amazing. They were so friendly, helpful and accommodating. They really showed genuine care towards our loved one.

They are very accommodating at this community for your loved one. They are very helpful I would definitely recommend this community. Anytime I interacted with the staff it was a level five with no complaints.

Whitehall Manor is a great place to put your parent. I'm very satisfied with our experience. The only downfall is they don't always meet the dietary restrictions for soft foods for my loved one. Art, singing, and more are available for the residents to choose from for activities.

I think Saucon Valley Manor is a great facility and management did a great job with making it a smooth transition which made him feel more comfortable. I would recommend them to other families who are looking.

Something that really stood out to us right away was how clean the community was and how there is never any fowl smells. The activities right now are pretty limited but that is due to the covid restrictions.

This is a good community for the money that is paid. I have not had a chance to see any food or any activities due to Covid. The staff are friendly and compassionate and good to the residents. However, they do not return phone calls. Overall they are a good place and I feel that my husband is being well cared for and I am happy with my decision.

The staff were approachable and warm. The accommodations were great. And we received a fast refund for the unused funds when our respite stay was over.

We chose Parkland Manor because we had a reference from a friend who had her mother here and they had a really good experience. Also after touring we felt it would be a good fit for her. It is definitely the best in the area. Despite being very busy, the staff are always friendly and willing to help with a smile on their face. They are great with communication to the family The setup of the facility is great, it is all on one level and feels like a home. I would absolutely recommend to other families looking.

I would tell others that the community is very polite and courtesy to the residents. The staff are informative and call if there are any questions or concerns. The rooms are very spacious for the residents.

We have been very happy with Bethlehem Manor, we would highly recommend them to any family. They are a very caring group of people. Our loved one was nervous her first day but they were so helpful with the transition and made her feel comfortable right away. She now has fit right in and is very happy. Overall she likes the food, but because of the covid restrictions we just aren't sure how many activities are going on.

Our family was able to have an in person tour and the experience was good, it was clean and the people were all friendly. However the location was just a little farther and the value for cost was a little to high.

When we are able to visit the community is kept very clean and we do see a lot of activities going on. The staff members have kept up great and consistent communication with our family which we love. We have no complaints to say about Whitehall Manor.

We have not been able to eat the meals there ourselves but according to our loved one she is very happy. There are always activities going on and we know very well that she is enjoying those.

This is the first and last place you or your loved one need to go. The care and genuine concern of the owner and staff is wonderful. My loved one enjoyed the food, and was ecstatic of community events such as wine nights going on.

[name removed] gave me a very detailed virttual tour of the facility. Based on the establishment, and the genuine concern I felt from the staff and residents, I feel this would be a good fit for my father.

I already have recommended this facility to a few people. They are very friendly. Laundry is provided for, which is unheard of. And transportation is also provided for. We've met our loved one at doctor appointments where they dropped him off, and the drivers have always been nice and delivered him safely. They communicate very well with the family. We've had an experience where he was before where we knew nothing. We weren't kept informed, and then a day and a half before they wanted to discharge him, then we heard from them. That has not been the case at Saucon Valley. So we're very happy with the care he gets here. He's made a few complaints about the food, but you're not going to like each and every meal you get. We haven't been allowed inside to the resident rooms yet, but they should be opening that up for visits soon. The common areas where we've visited have always been very clean and very nicely decorated. They people who are staffing that area are very polite and very nice. I know they offer activities, but our loved one doesn't participate in them. It's an excellent value here. It's been a good experience. My loved one has said that if he had to go somewhere, he's happy it's here. And that means a lot to us.

We toured this community and the tour was very nice. The staff was very friendly and answered all our questions. The rooms were pod-like and I think the building was a school at one point.
