This community was lovely, however it was out of our price range. The staff were nice and friendly. The community was clean and I noticed nothing but activities going on and available.

This is to express how living at Weatherly Inn has been for me. The staff soon become like friends and always have a smile to help. Living here is as comfortable as it gets. There are lots of activities for you to choose from or to just sit and read. Once again, I want to let you know you will always be remembered kindly.

Our family is so pleased with the wonderful life our loved one is enjoying at his Weatherly apartment. On a scale of 1 to 10 we would rank the Weatherly Inn an over-the-top 11. It is really a very nice place. We are impressed with the cheerful, tranquil feeling we get when we visit. Sitting in the dining room it is obvious that everyone is having a good time. The menu is full of healthy choices and there is an aroma of fresh baked desserts. We feel the warm and respectful care is truly outstanding. It is as if residents and staff are an extended family. The management has consistently been willing to do those extra little things that make the difference between good and great service. They offer insightful suggestions no matter what the need may be. On behalf of our family, I want to express our sincere gratitude. This is undoubtedly the best place in Medford for any family that needs to find an independent living experience for a parent or sibling.

We toured here, and thought it was really nice. We were going to move here, unfortunately we never made it. They were very gracious in working with us, and we would have liked to have had the chance to experience the community.

Everything about the Brookdale Bakersfield place is just really good in my opinion. My loved one is really happy with the facility and with what she is getting over there. I think everything is highly rated.

Mom is doing a good job adjusting and meeting friends at Weatherly Inn. It is all pretty new to us and it is slow going. I think that is hardest thing. She moved here and didn't have a base of friend. Weatherly is a renovation project. There is a bit of grumbling from the residents that have been there a while. Mom is happy with the food. I think more facilities should serve fresh fruits and vegetables. I think the chef is open to ideas though. Overall things are going good so far.

Brookdale Vacaville was a very good facility for my loved one. They have a lot of activities and the person in charge was just wonderful with the residents and they made it a friendly and warm feeling.

If there was a 6 on friendliness I would give Brookdale Bakersfield a 6. They keep her very busy there. The nurses and the way she receives her meds is excellent. I would give the nurses a pat on the back for their care. They are very communicative with us which helps a lot. It has been an all around good experience here.

Dad is really happy at Brookdale Bakerfield and we are too. It was an obvious choice out of all the other places we looked at. Dad is actually even getting involved in activities there. Any time I have had conversations with Pam, the director, she has been really helpful. We are just really happy with this facility. It has been a really good experience.

They were very helpful when we were moving in to the facility. They have been very supportive. We have had some issues with my dad, him not wanting to be there and complaining and saying things about the place, and whenever we bring it to their attention they are just really helpful in dealing with it.

We checked out several senior assisted living communities in Bakersfield. Brookdale (was Emeritus) was our choice because it has a warm, friendly, quite, and relaxing atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The dining room is like being at a beautiful restaurant with delicious food. The rooms are fine. The decor is fine. The activities room and movie room are nice. The upstairs loft overlooks the dining room and is set up as a game/ reading area. There is also a separate library. What we also noticed is the residents. . . .they were HAPPY!!! Happy enough to have smiles on their faces and a good sense of humor. Brookdale was the best fit for our dad and. . . .even the best priced!!! He's been there two weeks now and says he is SO happy and has made so many friends!!! This is wonderful news for us to hear because he has never lived in an apartment before and we weren't sure how he'd make the adjustment. But the delicious food and good hearted staff and friendly neighbors has made the adjustment easy for him.

A Place for Mom directed us to Brookdale. The staff is so caring and the facility is lovely. I couldn't be more pleased.

The community is really well taken care for very friendly staff, nice common areas. This facility is beautiful. It's clean and bright, the staff is friendly as are the residents. It's great. Mom gets bored because she is coming from a home to a room and lost some independence but overall the staff care and she does participate in some activities. I would happily recommend Brookdale Bakersfield

The rooms are really opening and have a bunch of space. Its not a closed in facility. The patients seemed really happy here. I dont really have any complaints.

Mom lives here and loves it. Everyone is so friendly. The food has gotten really good. They offer excellent home healthcare services, so Mom may not ever have to leave her friends. The value is amazing for all they offer.

I think they are doing good so far. I thought the staff were more friendly and caring, they did their job, but then they went above that. They weren't just a stickler for this is how it is. They are pretty flexible. So far I can't think of anything that could be improved.

This has been a great community for my loved one so far. The grounds are very nice, the dining room setup is nice, and it has the feel of a resort. The staff is very sweet and nice. There are many places for residents to gather and socialize -- in living rooms and alcoves. The only thing I don't like is the smell that I often find. It seems like the rooms are not cleaned often enough. Otherwise, a great community!

Everything is great! They are clean and everyone is friendly. I feel like I am getting my money's worth. They are quick to respond if there are ever any needs or concerns. They have a lot of activities. It would be nice to maybe have some kind of direct communication with the caregivers, something like a bulletin board or dry erase board. It would be easier than trying to go find one person so they can give a message to another person. Just for little things, like need more toothpaste, please put compression socks on, that kind of thing. The food is fantastic, it's really good. It looks great and smells awesome. We chose them because when we were first looking around it felt right, it felt kind of newer and less like a care home and more like a hotel, or resort.

I am so grateful you helped guide me to this place. The people there are amazing. Mary Williams took us through the 5 hour form (smile). She was absolutely amazing. I"d spent time with her before the due date - but when that date hit, my mother, who had been the pitbull from hell, suddenly sailed in like the Queen Mary - gracious, relaxed, and friendly. And me - the caretaker - looking like I'd been rolled in an ally and tortured within an inch of my life (which , dare I say it, I had!). ....and insult to injury, had lost my carefully honed sense of humor? Ms. Williams didn't blink an eye. They ended up having to take over my mother's meds, and so far the change over has been easy and painless. There was even a mix-up about being able to have a cat. And Mary was generous enough to go with what we'd been mistakenly told. And that cat has made all the difference to my mother's attitude. Thank you so much for your humanity and understanding.

This facility is beautiful. It's clean and bright, the staff is friendly as are the residents. It's great.
