The care at Golden Meadows was fine, but we will be moving my mother out of this community. They have bumped the price up about $1300 and we can not afford that. My mother liked it and it was a good place, but it is not a good fit anymore.

Hollybrook is very disorganized. Each person gave me a different story of what was going on and why my Father needed to move from there. The way they handled it was not good and I could not get a straight answer. The staff is very sweet and young, but unprofessional. They lost both pairs of his glasses and his headphones and we didn't find out until his last day there when we picked him up to move him. There is a communication problem. The activities were fine. There's no direct access for them to go outside on their own. It's a sterile environment. I was happy with A Place For Mom and their help.

My Aunt needs a little more care and help than Hollybrook can provide. She felt she was mislead, she thought this community was oversold and they were able to provide more than what they can. If she was more mobile it would've been good. There's not enough staff. They didn't help her with her exercises. She uses a walker, but still needed someone to walk beside her for assistance if needed. They did have an exercise group once a week, but she felt there wasn't enough activities she was able to do or able to get to, it was difficult for her to get there. The price of the community was good.

I would definitely say that they probably could improve on their parking a little bit, but honestly that is really the only negative thing I have to say about the Hollybrook Senior Living at Orange facility.

They are a friendly staff. On most things they have accommodated us well, as far as getting different things done and picking my loved one up on different occasions. They are kind to my loved one as well.

They were very friendly at first but they really underpriced the care services when I asked what the maximum amount I would pay in care charges would be. The first said $500 and then later they quoted us at $1500 and that was a couple of days before we were getting ready to move my grandmother in. I called a couple of times about this and asked them to call me back right away. They never called me back. I was very disappointed in their response.

older building, small rooms (just closet,bath,bed/sitting area),very small patio/balcony areas. Patios not private. Monthly cost doesn't include as much. Weekly housekeeping, linen changes and program activities appear to be extra costs.

Westfield Gardens Villa was a nightmare. The front door is not locked and residents leave unattended all the time. It is not memory care, there is no real supervision. The staff is friendly but never really there. The food is poor.

They've gone through five new managers since my loved one moved in. The newest one never called me back when I left a message because we were having some issues. To sum it up, they have a lot of turnover and a horrendous lack of communication.
My mom was there for a year. She had laundry mix ups. Her clothes, jewelry, bedding and ID missing. [removed]. People there make u feel it's u fault if u complain. The price is good, but u get what u pay for. Look around when u tour the place . It's really dirty. The managing staff ( I've dealt with) is young and not professional. I have to say there are a few nurses that are great. There are of course some staff members who also do a great job. I believe it is the upper management that has not given proper training to the few who need guidance. I would not recommend hollybrook from my experience. I pulled my mom out and she is happier. There are many places out there, take your time to find the right place. I was desperate, and I regret I wasted time and money.

We were not happy with Hollybrook Senior Living at all. They did not do what they said they would. My mom was in the ER 3 times in the 2.5 months she was there. I would not recommend it to anyone. They have no direction, no leadership. Not well run at all.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Update review: After nearly one year, my father has had multiple cases of 'falling down' when absolutely NOBODY was around, his clothing and personal items have ALL gone missing, they NEVER take the residents out to walk, his body is bruised for reasons nobody can explain, and most recently he had his skull cracked by his roommate (still has staples in his head). This place is a scam with completely incompetent, unqualified and absolutely untrustworthy staff. Oh my gosh, please don't go to this place. We are desperately looking elsewhere. Original review: Exterior doesn't look great, but when you walk in, surprise! It's bright and welcoming. Memory care on second floor does not allow for residents to wander freely on the grounds (or in this case, the small interior courtyard), as with other larger facilities. Would have liked that feature, but I suppose the price would have been higher. They make up for this with daily neighborhood strolls. Saw other facilities that were more expensive but the interior was gloomy. Not perfect, but a great budget-friendly option.

Golden Meadows was just too old, dark and drab and it did not provide the type of welcoming or comfortable feel that I would want for my husband. They are setup more for Alzheimer's and my husband has Parkinson's, not Alzheimer's. There were no private bathrooms and it would not have been a good fit at all.

I visited here with my mother, and was not impressed. The location is not great, and there is a lack of parking. Some of the staff we talked to did not always seem knowledgeable, especially when we asked them specific questions. When were were shown the memory care unit, we saw residents doing some activities. However, these activities seemed staged just for our visit. These were also the only residents we saw during our visit -- only staff was around otherwise. It is an older facility, so some things are not very up-to-date. When we sat down to discuss things with the staff, they talked over my mother and to me instead of taking into account what she had to say. It took them two weeks to call me back and give me an assessment of cost, which did not include some basic things (giving my mother her medication, etc.). Overall, it had a very strange atmosphere, and we were very disappointed and unimpressed.
