My 103 year old mother has been here since spring [date removed] (with a summer off in Nantucket). We have been very impressed with the personalized service from all the staff, including professional care from the nurses. My mother had to recover from a fall and staff worked closely with my family to make sure that my mother got the care she needed to recover as much of her activities as possible in a safe and appropriate manner. The facility seems more like a Marriott than an assisted living facility. The food is surprisingly good, including wine at dinner. There are smaller private dining areas for family events, which we have used for than once. I could not imagine my mother at any other facility. I sleep well at night knowing my mother is safe and just five minutes away. The pool table is great too...
Read moreWe chose this community becasue of the location, the cleanliness, and the promises made. The room sizes are not bad, shes got her bed, TV, chair and a couple of tables. My mother actaually eats and she likes the food, no complaints. They have been very cautious with COVID. The memory care is expensive. When they were able to get out, they would be able to get them out and take them on trips, play music, do exercise classes and other activities.

When we walked into OMP, my Mom knew this was the place for her. When we compared size (OMP is small and very personal), services (OMP includes more services in their base monthly rent than any other place we looked), reputation (excellent), and cost (OMP was at the lower end of the price spectrum and it is not-for-profit which means that their mission is to serve you not to make money from you), OMP was the obvious place to choose. We could not be happier! The staff is professional and so warm & caring! Everyone from the director to the maintenance crew knows every resident. The apartments and public spaces feel like home. The food is excellent. The kitchen accommodates personal likes (maple walnut ice cream for my Mom and sugar free canned pears for her new best friend). The activities are varied and plentiful. My Mom, who was very anxious about the move, is happier than she has been in years. She feels loved, safe and enjoys the company of many new friends.
