Review ofMariposa at Ellwood Shores
5.0

My dad and his little dog lived at Mariposa for several years. The caregivers and med techs really care for the residents. The activities vary and engage every resident and the food is good. Family activities are planned so that all family members can participate. The management team is great to work with. They communicate with families frequently so that we know what is going on in the community. I get peace of mind knowing that my dad is well taken can of.

I think it's a good facility. My loved one is high functioning, and there aren't enough residents of the same stature, so she's a little bored. But the staff are very friendly. She didn't like her dining companions, but they fixed her table for her, and now she has companions that she likes. She likes the food very much. It's very fresh, and they offer many choices. I like the apartment, and I think she does too overall.
