It is very superb in many ways. The community is a beautiful place staff are wonderful. It has just been way too long in isolation due to COVID and they need to open back up on a more individualized basis. The food is delivered and but always cold, it was good when we could go to the dining room. Overall, they really try to do well. The staff are really friendly and kind. The are very sweet, send us cards and write us sweet notes on or meal delivery bags. They don't ignore us at all. I would recommend this community. The only negative it that they need re-evaluate the costs because they keep going up.
It was a very smooth transition getting mom moved in. They had everything ready for her when she was ready to move in. They have been fabulous taking such good care of her. There have been a couple of issues with the room (toilet backing up, sink backing up, etc.) but other than that it has been a very good positive experience and I would highly recommend them. Everyone there has been fabulous - I can't say enough good about them! My mom can be very fussy but has been very happy with them and raves about the food as well.
What an amazing experience. First you meet Les Davidson, who believes there is no limit to assisting a person. He provides details on what is required, prepares you for what is to come, assists you with everything required for a smooth transition. The staff is excellent, and the people that live there are so friendly that I wanted to move there!! Residents are so willing and eager to meet new people. When we visited, they could not do enough- and the environment is so positive! One person told me that the only problem my mother will have when she moves in is learning to say "no" or she will have every day booked up and be exhausted! And it was true.
