Overall, I would recommend Vancouver Pointe to others. However, there have been too many staff changes since we moved in in September that made rating some areas hard. Hopefully things won't change too much. They're very friendly, helpful and affordable. It is somewhat scary with the company being sold.

Tops it all categories
Having lived in several independent and assisted facilities in this area, Vancouver Pointe rates at the very top Employees are clean, professional, courteous and above all very friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make a resident feel at home. The facility is very clean. The food is absolutely excellent with an extensive menu, a daily special that I found is good as any fine restaurant . Apartments are very spacious - with a delightful large kitchen and modern appliances. Lots of activities with lots of enthusiasm.
Good Security. I feel very safe in here.
The Director is very knowledgeable and friendly. Goes out of her way to help explain or answer questions a resident may have.
I am so delighted that I found Vancouver Pointe. Thank you.

Wonderful experiences daily!
My mom spent her entire life taking care of five kids plus her grandkids. At 75, she is now living a life full of socialization and experiences at Vancouver Pointe!

I've found VP a comfortable place to live. I've lived here for 1 1/2 years. My neighbors are great. The food is fine. The staff is friendly and completely competent. In short, I have no complaints.

first 100 days
I think this is a good place to live. there are some post covid delays and shortages but overall its a good place

A great community
Vancouver Pointe has been a very good experience so far. Our loved one absolutely loves the meals and dining service. The activities are coming back, she is doing the exercises classes. This community just works well for her.

1st Visit
I visited this community for the first time last week and was very impressed by the staff hospitality, cleanliness and most importantly -- the very welcoming residents! I enjoyed a sample meal and the grilled salmon was cooked to perfection. Top notch independent living location!

Great stuff
This community is by far one of the best we have evaluated. Great management, excellent service staff, food outstanding. Three meals a day part of the monthly fee. A full menu with daily specials. Excellent housekeeping. Lots of activities. But by far the best part is the residents who live here at this facility. They are friendly and proud to be a part of this community. They have become family.

The Right Decision for Mom
Vancouver Pointe had the right "feel" that my mother was hoping for. We had visited other Senior Retirement Communities in the area, and Mom remained luke warm. She didn't find them compelling enough to go through the sale of a big home and tough downsizing decisions.
When she walked into the Pointe, she immediately stated, "Oh, I like the openness and the friendliness. I think this might work." The more she learned, the better she felt. Good value, seemingly happy residents, and excellent management.
Within three months, she had sold her home and moved into the Pointe. Nine months later she continues to be very pleased with her decision.

I really liked the cottage and [Removed] was a joy to be around. The staff here were all welcoming and friendly. We will go back and take some pictures. Their willingness to be involved in the relocation and options available make it worth keeping at the top of my list.
