[Name removed] and [name removed] the owners try to be very accommodating. They are kind. Their help that stays over night told our loved one they would not get up in the night because the staff had to care for the other residents one who was are pretty much stuck in her wheelchairs. And 2 that really should be in memory care. The other residents went to bed by 7:30-8 pm. Our loved one stays up later. There was not enough help to suit our loved one needs. The food was just okay. That's our experience.

My tour review
No complaints about the tour and this community was nice. It made it very hard to make a decision and this community was patient orientated. The location was a little further away and that was what shifted my decision. The staff were all competent and this was a great tour.

I feel they could have more staff at the facility, but the staff is very friendly. The communication with the staff is good, and my aunt says the food is good and they have a great variety. I would recommend this facility if you need a higher level of memory care.

Nothing To Complain About
They did very well. I do not really know how they could get much better, it was an excellent experience. Everything about them stood out because we had different experiences with other facilities and nothing really to complain about here.

Care seems good, but big language barrier
They seemed to do a good job taking care of the residents here, but unfortunately there was a big language barrier. Not many of the staff could communicate in English very well, and this made it very hard to get any updates on how our loved one was doing.

A Place for Mom has scored Valley View II Manor Care Home 7.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.

Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
