She has enjoyed having options for social activities while still feeling independent. She enjoys the dining facilities but still has the option fix something for herself in her unit if she likes. We all feel happy that the individual units as well as the facility are designed with safety in mind. My Mom is still quite physically capable, but she's able to engage in all activities much more safely because of level surfaces, handrails, the zero-entry shower, etc. When the weather is nice she enjoys rocking on the outside porch and looks forward to walking the grounds. We appreciate the opportunity to attend special events when possible - Zumba! - but also appreciate seeing videos and pictures shared by the dedicated staff on social media.
