We loved The Waterford. The facility if absolutely beautiful and they have a lot to offer. It was bigger though so a little overwhelming for my mom.
Beautiful facility and rooms. Very friendly staff and residents.
Overall we've had a pleasant experience. The head nurse is wonderful and does everything you ask her to do. They're pretty prompt with requests. The food is excellent, it's like a restaurant. I was a little frustrated as my loved one has declined that the cost of care went up, even though the care required seems to be less. But based on other places in town, the cost is reasonable. It's an older building, could be kept more clean, but they do change bed sheets 3 times a week.
We chose The Waterford at Carpenter's Creek because of the affordability, but she also still got her own room. The room size she got was ok. I have eaten here one time, and I liked the food, it seemed like fresh food and they had choices on their menu. The best part about this community was everyone was very friendly, they even decorated their doors for the holidays. I would recommend.
We chose The Waterford at Carpenter's ultimately because of the affordability. The room sizes here are very nice, he had a walk in closet, kitchenette, living area, and a bedroom. The food looked awesome, they did have a menu with daily choices. The best part about this community was knowing that my father was well taken care of. I would recommend.
My husband's cousin just moved in. Facility is clean, just beautifully kept inside and out. It is the people there that make it a home. [name removed] (director of nursing) and [name removed] have been outstanding. They are compassionate and organized at the same time. [name removed] along with the nurses, housekeeping, food services make me feel this is a wonderful home for my cousin.

The food is not good and was not accommodating for my mother's diet. My mother used to walk around the building each night before bed and one time smelled gas and we reached out to the maintenance team, who didn't respond to the request. The fire department ended up finding their were some small leaks in the kitchen. After this happened, Carpenter's Creek evicted her.
The absolute best place in Pensacola!
