The Village at Incarnate Word review
Our loved one spent about 8 months on the independent side and unfortuantely she was not really able to connect with anyone at the Village. We spoke to a lot of people and they said the Village was "click-ish." It is a much bigger facility so a lot of the times the staff members seemed really busy and could not really give any personal attention to our loved one. If you are able to find a facility that is medium to a smaller size, you can hope for more attention. The staff here seemed to operate more like a hospital. Due to covid they had to eat in their rooms a lot, but at times they were able to eat in the dining room but our loved one would still stay in the room, we wish they encouraged her more to get our. Also we did not like how our loved one once they moved her to more assisted living/memory care had to share a room with another resident who was a screamer.

Frequently Asked Questions
about The Village at Incarnate Word

A Place for Mom has scored The Village at Incarnate Word 8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.

Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score.
