The Springs reminded our family of an elegant cruise ship, and not only were we impressed with the outreach from the staff but also from the residents. When our loved one first moved in, right away she was being introduced to people, she has made new friends and she really felt welcomed. The activities are still somewhat limited but they are doing the absolute best that they can. The value for cost is expensive, but worth it. We are very happy and it has been a great benefit for our family.... Read more

The Springs at Tanasbourne is a super nice, but very large facility. They offer a broader spectrum of care so there are a lot more residents who live here. It is very grand and has restaurants in it and a lot of other great amenities offered. This would have been a fine pick for us but we just felt it was a little too big for our loved one.

It is a big facility, just really top notch but expensive. They have independent living, assisted living and memory care. The memory care and assisted living residents have their own section, own dining room, sitting room and activities rooms. So as a general rule they are not roaming around the facility. I lived there for a year and it was so very nice, but just way out of my price range.

Our mother lives at The Springs at Tanasbourne and enjoys the friendly staff and clean environment. The food service is very expensive, and is inconsistent in quality. The dining room is rarely staffed adequately and long waits for meals are far too frequent. Hopefully, management will make staffing enhancements that will address these issues.

Response from The Springs at Tanasbourne
December 14, 2018Thank you so much for your review and your kind words about our staff and community. We are sorry that your mom’s dining experiences are not meeting and exceeding her expectations. I would appreciate the opportunity to meet with you to discuss your specific concerns and see how we can solve those concerns for your mom and all of our residents. Would you please reach out to me at [removed] or [removed] at your earliest convenience? Thank you. Eric Christensen, Executive Director.
My Mother-In-Law has been at The Springs for one year and has loved every minute! She is busy all the time (so many great activities), loves the staff and her home there. The food is AWESOME, the staff is kind, caring and attentive and the buildings are so neat and clean. The decor of the buildings is really cool too. She is extremely happy there and has made so many friends. I recommend this great company for your loved one.

Response from The Springs at Tanasbourne
May 4, 2018We are honored that you chose The Springs at Tanasbourne to care for your Mother In Law. Thank you for sharing your kind words about our staff and the food (our chef is quite amazing!!) With gratitude, The Springs Living.
The Springs at Tanasbourne was a very nice community. The staff was friendly and showed us the facility. The decor was very dark and not very cheery. There didn't seem to be many residents that were out and walking around. It was too quiet, not much activity going on. We chose another community that was more open and bright.

September 25, 2017Thank you for taking the time to tour and share your thoughts. With gratitude, The Springs Living
My mother was a resident in assisted living at the Springs for approximately 2 years. I was continually amazed and impressed at the genuine compassion and caring of the entire staff. I cannot say enough good things about the facility and amenities and care she received while she was a resident. They took excellent care of her.

Don't recommend this [removed] facility, they don't give the residents any help nor do they care for them. As long as the received the residents monthly payment that's all they care about. Not impressed at all. The caregivers don't barely ever respond to any of the calls when a resident needs help. Just awful.

Response from The Springs at Tanasbourne
December 21, 2015We are so sorry to see this posting because The Springs at Tanasbourne is so genuinely focused on making our residents lives (and their families) the very best they can be. Resident payment is never the primary driver for what we do each and every day – providing truly excellent care is. I would be eager to discuss the circumstances of your experience, in hopes that we can identify how we may have missed fulfilling your expectations. We would hope that our residents or family members would feel comfortable leaving their name on comments, so we could have the chance to work together. But if you would prefer to communicate confidentially, I can be reached at [removed] or [removed]. Best wishes, Jay Leo, Director of Operations
I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. We ended up selecting another community, but this is somewhere I would have considered as an option for my loved one.

It was absolutely gorgeous but we can't afford it. I toured just for curiosity. I think that it was $2300 for a studio.

Beautiful facility - but the memory care unit is totally not acceptable.

This is the Cadillac of all we have seen so far. Wow, what a place! They have a pool for water arobics classes every day. There is a real theater for movies. You can eat whenever you want any meal you want. They give you an allowance for food and you pay as you go. They have a bar where you can go to have drinks, not that my Uncle drinks, but he used to love to go to the bar in the evenings. There is a conciers desk where if you have a doctors appointment you just have to tell them where and what time and they will take you. There is a mens group that meets twice a week to just talk. The big big room has full kitchen dinning, living room and bedroom all in one room. Also, this one is right across the street from a Whole Foods grocery store and across the street another way from a resteraunt and a large mall. He could buy anything he wanted within walking distance. There is a putting green and a park to walk in right next door. He could even have a spa whenever he wanted. There is a large room for parties or family dinners. Family can come anytime to eat with the residents. Can you tell I was very impressed?
