ROC is smaller than other assisted living places I toured, but don’t let the intimate setting steer you away. From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted with a sincere smile and a welcome. Other residents approached me and said that they loved it there. The entire staff has taken the time to really get to know my mom. She is treated respectfully and trusts them in return. I am kept informed regarding medical issues, but of course every resident needs to have an advocate. My mom is an active member at ROC and participates in a variety of groups and activities. The activities director is very kind and creative. My mom has formed many positive relationships with staff and other residents. My only suggestion would be to offer more outings for residents. Comfortable accomodations. Good access to medical care and much needed assistance. Good food, like homemade 3 times per day.
