October 11, 2023Thank you for your kind words regarding The Peaks at South Jordan Memory Care. We are pleased to care for you loved one. Thank you for entrusting him into our care.
The peaks in south Jordan impressed me a great deal on my very nervous first visit to an Alzheimer's facility. My wife would be safe and well cared for there. It was a relief.

Response from The Peaks at South Jordan
June 21, 2023Thank you for taking the time to tour The Peaks at South Jordan. Our staff works diligently to provide a safe, clean and happy environment for each of our residents. We look forward to being of service to you and your loved one.
The care was good and the staff was very friendly. Very good security. My wife was there during Covid so things were more strict. Since my wife passed a year ago there has been a change in ownership and most staff so I can't vouch for how everything is now. The cost and value at the time my wife was there was better than most facilities I visited. Based off of our experience, I would recommend The Peaks at South Jordan.

My mom enjoyed the activities when I would take her. She had fun with every activity they offered and socialized for the first time in a long time. The meals were wonderful as well. The staff was very kind and helpful. I am very grateful for their care and service for my mother.

Response from The Peaks at South Jordan
May 30, 2023Thank you for your review. Our activities are an important part of our community. We are pleased your mother enjoyed them.
My Mom had Alzheimer’s and was at The Peaks care center for 14 months. The administration staff at this facility really do care about their jobs and are truly committed to making the care given at this facility the best. The nurses, med techs, activities coordinators, housekeepers, cafeteria staff, bedside caregivers were always pleasant and amenable. If we had a request of any kind they were prompt to reply. This facility met above average cleanliness standards as well. We were very pleased with the care provided to our mom and family.

May 11, 2023Thank you for your kind words, Alisa. We truly appreciate you taking time to share with others your impression of The Peaks at South Jordan Memory Care. We miss [name removed], as she too for us, was a dear family member.
I would recommend others to go there. I picked this community, because I had a really good advisor at A Place for Mom. I think out of all the different places we checked out it impressed us the most.

Everything is working out very well for our loved one at Pheasant Run. The staff have been wonderful and are very good with my father in law and helpful when needed.
Overall, it was a good experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Some days they were short of help especially on weekends. Everyone tried to make things work for us.

We are super pleased with Pheasant Run, they are a full Alzheimer's care facility. They also have a circular architectural style which is great for those ambulating with Alzheimer's. They coordinate very well with the wonderful LDS volunteers who serve specifically this facility.

My mother lived at Pheasant Run for nine months from [dates removed]. The staff was very caring, accommodating and professional. While they struggled like all business did during this time period with staffing shortages, they never let it affect how they cared for patients. We were very happy we chose this location and I would higly recommend it.

This was just not the right community for my loved one. The residents seemed to be more advanced and it was just not the right environment for my loved one and the type of place that we were looking for.
This community was good and they were friendly. I just did not have a wow experience but it came down to the location and me being able to get to my loved one easily.
This was a beautiful community but I did not see the interaction with the residents that I was looking for. Beautiful tour but not many residents together or any interactions. There was just another community that I felt my loved one fit in better at.
They are very professional and knowledgeable here. The staff are great people to work with. They are quick to respond to questions or concerns that the family has about our loved one. Some of the activities available include live entertainment, coloring, puzzles, balloons, exercises, and more for the residents to choose from.

We've had a very satisfying experience. They helped us a lot getting Mom settled in. I just can't say enough good things about them. They've been really good all around. The facility is set up to where the residents interact as much as they can. They don't prohibit having televisions in the residents' rooms, but I I like the idea that they advise you not to so that your loved one can come out and mingle with other people instead of being stuck in their room. I think it's an excellent facility. Their staff is just super good. The director is great. I can't say enough good things about her. The cost is a little bit higher than the other places we looked at, but there's just no comparison.

Mom my was a resident here from May 2019 until her passing in January. [Name removed] and all the caregivers at Pheasant Run are amazing. They brought peace of mind to my very troubled mind and heart when trying to find a place for my mom after the place she was in didn’t really want her back after a stint in the behavioral hospital. They understood my mom’s dementia, they had more patience with her, they gave us all peace. The anxiety of, “They’re going to kick her out.” has never happened here. I felt peace as soon as I left my meeting with them knowing this is where my mom needed to be. There is a true family feeling at Pheasant Run. The other residents become your family as do all the caregivers. They loved, cared, and worrird about my mom like she’s their mom. [Name removed] is continually learning about this horrible disease and training those he works with so that they understand how this disease works. He teaches a free class monthly for anyone to attend so that you can understand what’s going on with your loved one. The facility is beautiful, clean, safe, and warm. From the moment you walk in you are welcomed and cared for. The activities and field trips are wonderful, the food is yummy and they work with all dietary needs, the building is clean and bright and unobstructed. The caregivers are amazing and we’re so good not only to my mom but to our family. They took care of us all during her passing and helped us with whatever we needed. They gave us space after she passed to let us say goodbyes before they called the funeral home, and were there to help us through. They became my family. I thought the pricing was fair and I really can’t complain about anything. My mom was tasted with dignity and love and that’s what we were hoping for. Her dementia wasn’t an easy one, but they never made us feel like she was a problem. I am so grateful that we found Pheasant Run, it’s one of the few things of the last couple of years I don’t regret in terms of my mom’s care. She was loved. Thank you [name removed] and every single person who works there, you are making a difference every day!

My husband is in Pheasant Run and there are many good things and many things that need improvement. IT is 9 pm and I just got home from a drop in visit and once again they were extremely understaffed on the night shift, They have a high turnover rate and the patient to care giver ratio on night and weekends is wrong. They always have the excuse they are hiring more people. But go with out staff when someone calls in sick. I have complained over and over with the same old answer. They collect the monthly fee which is not cheap but fail to provide adequate care at all times. I am not sure who from the home office is checking but improvements need to happen NOW! The state also needs to see what is happening on nights and weekend. Everything is fine up until night shift and they never have a plan B when staff doesn't show up. The management just goes home. Oblivious

Great facility! My family had to place my Father in a facility after he left our home alone. The staff was kind and understanding of his behaviors. They did not “sugarcoat“ disease they gave great education. They are a true leader in the Alzheimer’s industry.
