About the facility
The Alexander Club

The Alexander Club based in Jersey City, New Jersey, started with a clear goal: To serve seniors who want to continue living in their home but need some help with managing everyday life. CEO Carol Alexander, a registered nurse for over three decades, remembers the challenges of finding reliable home care for her own mother and sought out to provide this assistance to others. Founded in 2010, the home care business has been helping seniors in Essex and Hudson counties with a range of services.

The caregivers at The Alexander Club are extensively trained and many have experience in assisting seniors with Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and physical disabilities as well as those in need of hospice care. Some of the services include helping with chores around the house like laundry, grocery shopping, and medication reminders or going to church and shopping mall.

Additionally, The Alexander Club can help veterans and their spouses obtain VA benefits. Long-term care insurance is accepted.

Great support and caring service
The planning, care and ongoing support provided by [name removed] and her team of caregivers for my elderly father was wonderful. We were so greatly at how quickly she was able to provide a home health aide on such short notice. Although our service period came to an end, we would certainly call back on [name removed] should we need care in the future.
