In addition, we were able to get a cat for our relative who was almost a therapy pet in her last weeks. They provided the necessary paperwork and support so we were able to get a cat that not only provided comfort, but also was cleared health wise and temperament wise to safely interact with staff and other residents (residents did not happen). Family and friends were welcomed at any time, and though our experience there was only 3 months, it made a difficult situation easier to manage. Our family member was in hospice. However, when we needed the sunrise nurses or had any special housekeeping wants or questions on anything they were great.
