I could not physically care for my loved one, so him being there is a great relief that someone is caring for him. They have a lot of activities to offer, my loved one doesn't participate in much but they do have a list of events going on for the day and I see a lot of things going on. He also loves the food. I have no complaints, once I got to know who is responsible for what and what they can and can't do. I'm so happy that he's somewhere where he's happy. My loved one has a single room which is a nice sized room with a foyer office, a big bathroom, and a nice sized closet. They have bigger rooms, but we didn't see the sense in that. They provide a bed, mattress, night table, chair, and laundry & housekeeping services. What's important to him is that they have snacks available all day long. They are very clean, he has to put his laundry in a bag the night before and they change his sheets. First couple months there were spent getting to know him, and teaching him what he was responsible for and how things work. Recently, they've started to do a bit more for him on a more regular basis, because of his health. The community is physically accessible for me, he's comfortable there, and the staff get along with him well. He's as happy as he's going to be living there.... Read more

Response from Sunrise of Crestwood
June 29, 2022Hi L.K., It is delightful to hear that you have been satisfied with the personalized support provided to your loved one by Sunrise of Crestwood. Our team members share a common goal of enriching every resident’s life by carefully listening to their needs and always delivering the very best. Thank you! – The Sunrise Team
We went with Sunrise of Crestwood because the location was close to me and also the value for the money. The director of sales gave us a 50% discount off of the community fee. The activities are a little more basic here than some of the other places I visited, but they are perfect for her. The staff are very welcoming to family members to come visit and they are responsive to concerns you may have when you bring them up. I would recommend this facility to others looking.

May 18, 2022We are so glad that you shared such a wonderful story about how Sunrise of Crestwood has helped you and your loved one. Thank you for taking the time to share this heart-warming message. – The Sunrise Team
I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The community calls us with any questions, or concerns about our loved one. They are accommodating and friendly. The food is good and it seems to be regular food. The community allows the residents to have snacks. They also will accommodate the resident if they don't like what is being served. There are lots of activities for the residents to choose from.
My mom had been at Sunrise of Crestwood for a little over 3 years, the most recent ones being in the Memory community. She enjoyed the company of fellow residents, engaging activities, caring and attentive staff, and feeling safe and secure. From the reception staff in the lobby, to the administrators and directors, food and cleaning service people, to the hands-on day to day caregiving professionals, I knew that mom was well cared for and her needs were met. I would recommend, and I have recommended, mom's "home" to others. As a daughter, I appreciate the opportunities to connect with others who have also made the hard decision to place a loved one away from familiar surroundings. It's all very comforting. Thanks to all for providing a caring environment for mom, and peace of mind for families, too.
I would recommend you pay attention to the fee schedule and make sure the way the increases are implemented. The communication with the staff is good on resident's matters.
Sunrise of Crestwood told us that they could handle memory care residents. They also said the staff knew how to handle residents with memory care. This isn't a good place for memory care residents; however it may work for assisted living residents.
Response from Sunrise of Crestwood
September 9, 2021Resident care is always a priority at Sunrise of Crestwood. For nearly 40 years, our Company has had the privilege to take care of thousands of senior residents who have made Sunrise Senior Living their loving and happy home. It’s disappointing whenever we learn that a family member or resident did not enjoy their experience at Sunrise. One dissatisfied member of our community is one too many. Please contact us at information@sunriseseniorliving.com so that we can learn more. Thank you.
The community is neat and clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. Communication between depts is not the best. The right-hand doesn't know what the left is doing. They are very kind and they do a great job taking care of them.
We did a tour with this community and it was very nice. The tour was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They answered all of our questions and gave us lots of information to consider. The community was very nice and they were very accommodating to us.
Sunrise of Crestwood did an excellent job with our tour. They were at the top of our consideration and ended up being our 2nd choice. I had an overall good impression of the place, and I liked the rooms. There was nothing negative that affected our decision. This was a great place. We just found another place that was even better.
We have not been able to visit our loved one since they day we dropped her off due to COVID. When we first saw this community we really liked how friendly the staff was and how engaged they were with the other residents. The rooms are lovely, however the bathrooms could use a little bit of newer paint to freshen them up.
I would tell my friends that I thought it was a good place for the right price. The food one was liked by my loved one. The nurses were nice. My loved one had an individual room, which provided him lots of room.
Sunrise of Crestwood has movie nights, games, as well as a great reading library. They have music for the residents to listen to as well as entertainments groups. We are not very impressed with the food, its a little mediocre. Very lovely community, the porch outside is very nice, its a very attractive setting. They have large studio apartments which is very nice. The staff has very good communication with the families, they are very good with keeping us up to date with whats going on, whether its via email or phone. I feel very secured about having my sister there!
The most horrible experience when dealing with a loved one with Alzheimer's. I was power of attorney of my aunt and they allowed someone to take her out of the facility without my knowledge. That totally ruined things. I looked to them for help and in return they allowed another family member to take my aunt out of the facility, to a lawyer's office to change the power of attorney, and moved her out of Sunrise without my knowledge.
I someone would have told me about how WONDERFUL this place is, i would not have believed them. My darling wife is here in Reminiscence. The staff takes loving care of all the residents. How do i know. I virtually live here with my wife, three-to-five hours a day. I see the love that they have, the caring, the efforts that they put it. There are a lot of people in Reminiscence, and a dedicated stuff which do a lot to help the residents. There are activities adjusted for the residents. A sense of optimism, joy, dedication, holiness pervade this wonderful place. In all, i am thrilled that my darling is here. i am sad that life turned out this way, but eternally grateful to G-d that HE guided me here, and that i made the absolutely right decision. For those of you interested, i'm always available through the organization to share my experiences.
My mom has been at Sunrise for 7 months and it was an excellent decision for her to move there. The staff is so warm and personable, she is always freshly bathed, dressed in a coordinated outfit (including jewelry), and her room is spotless. The bistro is stocked with coffee, cold drinks, and freshly baked goods, and the other residents and their relatives are a pleasure to visit. My mom enjoys the activities and trips to restaurants and the theater. The doctors, nursing staff, and care givers communicate any changes or questions. In addition, holidays like Mother’s Day and Thanksgiving are always celebrated with wonderful, festive parties where they have balloons, live entertainment, and food and drinks. It has been an extremely positive experience for the whole family, and we feel extremely grateful to have found Sunrise!
This was my first tour, so I might need to adjust my star rating later. The facility was beautiful and the staff seemed very nice. They will be sending a nurse to assess my mom on Monday, which will help to answer the question of where my mom belongs - in Memory Care vs. assisted living.
This was a beautiful place. Clean, staff was polite, well dressed. facility was clean and smelled clean too. Was there at dinner time. Food smelled good, residents looked happy. This facility can handle all needs, catheter to memory loss, to any movement needs. About 20 min from home, cost is about 12 - 14K a month. Just sad feeling seeing all the old people there and imaginging my parents there.
I have concerns about its location on a busy intersection. It was a small facility, with a semicircular facade with rocking chairs that looked like a nice place for people-watching.
The facility is nice and the staff here seems to be very nice. They are great with their care services; however I do have 1 main complaint. Generally speaking, their financial department really needs some work. It seems that they are changing their prices as they go. I was promised one rate and after a few days they surprise me with more fees. I don’t know where they’re coming from and I’ve been back and forth with them more times that I would like. It seems that I’m paying for nothing really. Overall, the property is great, the staff is nice, and it’s just their general billing needs to be more straightened out.
We visited Sunrise at Crestwood and felt it was the best place for my mom at this time. They offer the additional help she needs and we really loved the family atmosphere they promote. Thank you for setting up the tours [Removed], your assistance made a difficult time a little easier!
